And the crowd reciting those lyrics with Jay-z there amidst the allegations was weird on two fronts. They were probably hollywood weirdos in that audience that is what he accused Drake of and the "they" he is talking about in the song are them. Did Kendrick sell his soul. Lucian Grange, the same man who was backing Drake is now backing Kendrick now. He was in the audience high-fiving Drake. Is it ok now that it is Kendric?. And that Beyonce grammy was a make up from last year. If anyone one else have made that speech like Jay did and the next year their wife got it what would be said. She has had better Albums. I have not cared about a rap beef since the deaths of the Goats 2pac and Biggie. Jay has screwed over many black artists and so has his wife. So let's not change the narrative because you like them. I criticize people I might like when they are in the wrong. When this Kendrick diss Drake train ends, then what? Every song he does now ppl are listening for a Drake diss. The song was mid to me. @@MsStaceyBThey fell out because of Kendrick’s verse on Big Sean’s song “Control” where Kendrick basically acknowledged all his peers (J. Cole, 2 Chainz, ASAP Rocky, Drake, Big Sean, Jay Electronica, a few others I’m forgetting) as friendly competition but also said that he wanted to beat them all in the rap game.
Drake sensitive ass was the only one who legit got offended and started sneak dissing Kendrick for years and so from 2013 to 2023 they would throw some subtle jabs at each other in various hit songs from their albums. “Supposedly” Drake had wanted Kendrick to hop on First Person Shooter with him and J. Cole but Kendrick declined because he felt like he and Drake still had some shit to talk about and address with their behind the scenes beef do to all the years of Drake acting like a hoe ass nigga basically, and in typical Drake fashion he took that personal.
When J. Cole had made that Big 3 line in First Person Shooter (at this point, J. Cole and Kendrick’s relationship had strained) Kendrick bounced out on Like That with Future and Metro Boomin and he dissed both J. Cole and Drake. “Supposedly” (take this with a grain of salt) Drake had called Kendrick and the two had a conversation about Kendrick’s verse on Like That and Kendrick basically told Drake to get out of his feelings and if he had a problem, they could hash it out on wax. Drake allegedly sent a cease and desist for Like That and an unreleased song with French Montana that he wasn’t able to put out so other rappers started calling out Drake (Future, Metro Boomin, The Weeknd, Rick Ross, ASAP Rocky, French Montana) but Drake was mainly taunting Kendrick.
Then “supposedly” (again, take this with a grain of salt) Kendrick and Drake spoke on the phone again and Kendrick allegedly asked Drake if he was sure he wanted to battle him and Drake said he wanted all the smoke, and Kendrick basically said your funeral. J. Cole dissed Kendrick on 7 Minute Drill but “allegedly” shortly afterwards Punch from TDE had either called or ran into J. Cole and the two had a conversation and Punch basically told Cole that it was deeper than rap beef between Kendrick and Drake, and that it was about to get serious and both them dudes was gone take they bars way below the belt and get hella personal, which supposedly prompted Cole to delete his diss and apologize to Kendrick. Drake dropped Push Ups and Taylor Made Freestyle shortly after that and the rest is history.
A lot of what I said is speculation, this is what I’ve heard from people who I know on a personal level who are in TDE’s circle (I’m a music producer from South Central LA and a lot of us in the LA rap scene out here know each other, it’s a small ass circle) but it’s still a whole lotta he say she say.

Kendrick’s NLU is a needed anthem to highlight white and biracial people who are Constantly placed ahead of us socially, even with less talent. It is also a fire song and has the same vibe as Kendrick’s -We gone be alright. For you to challenge anyone dancing to this song when it speaks to our oppression is pure plantation thinking on your part. Rap music is full of slights and disses. There are not always two sides to every story. As you try so hard to show. You have constant tried to appease supremacy, but this time you have gone too far by peddling the JZ pressuring the Grammys. Expressive, I I will never listen to your channel again. Bye, Chrisette! Enjoy jumping through hoops with your white audience.

I laughed every time Not Like Us won a Grammy. It's not because I dislike Drake, but more because of how petty it is for a diss song against Drake (or anybody) to get such a co-sign from the Grammys 😂 The petty is REAL! 😂😂

All this makes me wonder wtf did Drake do to thêse ppl? Are we missing things from behind the scenes? I remember Joe Budden saying that Drake was a shitty person similar to what he said about Megan thee Stallion. However it does look suspicious that soo many ppl are happy to see him going through this "hate train." But I really don't see anything wrong with UMG supporting Kendrick because he's one of their artists too. They are doing the same thing for him that has benefited Drake his whole career imo. Drake got nominated for a Grammy for his diss song against Meek Mill(he just didn't win).

I said the same, I understand the whole Kendrick beef , but all these other men makes zero sense. He gave some of these men their biggest hits. I never seen a rap beef end a career this was worst than what Nas did to Jay Z 😂

Behind the scenes, Drake is known to have done some sneaky and conniving shit to a lot of people. Whether it's sleeping with their women( lil wayne for example) or sneak dissing them in tracks ( Rihanna, Serena Williams, kanye, Common, pusha t, Meek mill, etc) so of course a lot of ppl are happy to see his downfall. They feel like he deserves it🤷🏽‍♀️

@@driafibromyalgiafighter9342This doesn't seem like something that is serious. They don't like Drake because he got to big too fast. This is them trying to put him in his place. Also Drake is not an ass kissers this they also don't like. But no worries Drake will be vindicated and you will see how everyone will be ass kissing him including Kendrick

I don’t care what anyone says. COWBOY CARTER is a solid masterpiece to me. It’s so churchy, so southern. It reminds me of growing up in the Deep South. WELL DESERVED. THIS WAS ACTUALLY A GREAT SHOW. Showcasing the new artist. But the weekend and charli xcx shouldn’t have performed 😂.

Are you a Drake fan or something? Your reasoning for Kendrick Lamar winning was quite odd.
Also for Taylor, she works so fucking much. Maybe these award shows are her outlet. It’s crazy to say she may have a problem just based off that.
I can’t believe you got me defending Taylor Swift 😒

You and your backhanded compliments. Can you just cheer on your fellow women? Everytime you got to add something like “it wasn’t organic” or “they gave it to her”. Beyoncé and Doechi worked very hard to get where they are and deserve every bit of recognition. It’s giving jealousy….i love how you only hate on the black women but then want to feel bad for a pedophile….

I personally think Doechii has one of the most organic rises of any of the rap girlies in years. So many rappers feels so industry plant-y that’s just here pushing out the same tired garbage lyrics that we’ve all already heard from other artists say twice before but Doechii is like a breath of fresh air, she’s been grinding a lot longer than a lot of folks out here. Of course she’s gonna get label push (every artists we see on tv is getting some form of label push) but I wouldn’t agree and call Doechii inorganic
