Good info. Maybe next show how you actually do a remediation of a mold affected surface.

The way the door containment was set up gave me anxiety, it just didn't look secure enough for me :(

Why not just install a zipper?

Do you have to have a sleeve blowing the air out a window or can you just have an air scrubber?

Should duct when using a negative air machine. In my experience so far, we've set air scrubbers without ducting in most sites I've been on. I'd recommend reading the s520 and if it requires specialty drying.

why not use an air mover ducted outside.. what is the point of filtering the air before spewing it on the street unless you are doing lead or asbestos.

Good morning, so technically, I guess if your only concern was creating negative air pressure in a space, then yes, you could just use an air mover to pump air outside the home to create negative air pressure. The caveat to that would be that we don't want to pump large amounts of mold spores outside the home where someone walking by could be exposed or have those spores go into a neighbors home (cross contamination). Most houses in developments are quite close together, people go for walks or walk their dogs, things like that. Additionally, because you are creating that negative air pressure, it is possible that the air you are pumping outside the home can be forced back inside through another window or door or some other way. We want the air to be filtered out before we send it anywhere, regardless of where it is sent. It is just a safer practice to filter and collect any mold spores with a hepa filter before ducting it outside. It is also an IICRC S520 mold remediation standard to use hepa air scrubbers and negative air machines for remediation and restoration services. So that's why we do it. I hope that answers your question and I really appreciate you watching all of our videos and commenting on all our videos. Thank you for your time.

This guy just referred to efflorescence as a white mold. This nonsense is why I get 2-3 ridiculous calls a week. Do some homework.
