Hyunjoo did not deserve all the hate. Firstly, she entered DSP as an actress trainee the company included her in the lineup barely before their debut so she was barely trained in dancing and singing. Secondly, even though she does not excel in rapping, singing or dancing she has great charms, literally almost every ideal girl group has and needs a stan attractor member like her. Even the judges agreed on this. The debut lineup already has a lot of talented dancers or singers: Eunjin, Jiwon, Suji, etc. So what does replacing her with another skilled but less charming member do?
And just to add, the hate she receives even until to this day, is almost about her cuteness and how it is annoying. For people that dont know, not only she was added late i the group, barely have proper training, she was forced to act cute and sing cutely by the ceo and trainers so much that she actually lost her original singing and speaking tone. This was revealed in the show and some interview when she debuted as actress. DSP didnt deny this, so its safe to assume that it is true that they forced her to stick to cute concept so much to the point she got so much hate because its ingrained as her charm.

A lot of people in these comments are just judging without knowing anything about the idol industry and how it works. I also feel that they don't know how to be understanding becaause their own feeling are getting in the way. I wish they were more reasonable. Hyunjoo has a lot of potential all she hs to do is harness it especially since she already has a lot of what is desired in an idol.

Don't hate HyunJoo. Remember she became a member of april. She has a good voice but not that much good as the others as you expect but atleast she has it. And always remember, in every kpop idol, there's a lot people who is worst at dancing that's why they need to trained for over a years until they improve, even in singing too. HyunJoo is trying so hard to achieve her dreams and it is dramatic? She just want to achieve her dream but you called that dramatic. Yes it was dramatic because imagine, you're finally there, at the stage of your dream but an incident happen which is a hindrance to you to continue your dream.
