- Welcome back everyone, I actually did go out, it was actually colder on Wednesday morning but, there was no wind. So, I ventured out, and I'm glad I went out. I ended up catching ten trains! I drove in pretty much a big circle, starting in Wyoming. I caught CSX M 558, heading north to New River Yard to drop off a set of cars before continuing on to Lima, Ohio. I then proceeded to The Sugar Shack by the Tracks in Lockland to only catch Norfolk Southern 376, the Steel Coil Train heading to Rockport, Indiana. Which had a "heritage unit" on it. I headed to Glendale after that to catch the Amtrak P50, in a daytime run on the ole B & O due to departing Chicago over seven hours late. After that I headed to Sharonville, along the New Castle District. Once there, I didn't have to wait long, the trains were rolling! After that I caught my last train in Lockland. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video thanks for watching.
Thank you. Great collection of trains and locations! Amtrak, steel coil train which I haven't seen in a while on videos, locals. Something for everyone. Thanks for braving that cold!
NS 376 has been running at night, or not at all. So it was nice to see the Steel Coils for once.
Hey Joey, all of your class one railroads crews meaning the engineer and conductor runs under 12 hours of work time and 10 hours of rest so for instance, down here where I live the cruise that runs from Meridian, Mississippi to New Orleans. They all live around Meridian Mississippi, so when they climb aboard that train they go on duty and they have 12 hours to make it to New Orleans once they claim off of that train and go off duty, then they get 10 hours of rest and they can put them right back on a train headed back north to Meridian and that’s a 200 mile crew district from New Orleans to Meridian Mississippi but I just thought you might wanna know that but anyway my friend another awesome video and thank you for getting out there and Nicole and the snow to bring us a video to watch on Thursday and as always you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one
Oh, and another thing moving the weight of the world on 26C was in Austell Georgia Tuesday morning around 8:30 AM headed north so it should be up in there around you Wednesday when you shot that video for Thursday
That's very interesting! Thanks for the information.
Was coil train northbound or southbound? Southbound is 375 and NB is 376.
He called out 376 at the signal. And he was Southbound railroad west.
