Being only 5"6 this is the perfect bike for me.
My old boss used to have one and I used to ride it in and out of his garage.
I've never felt something other thana glove and pair of socks that felt like it fits me as much as a CBR 400RR.
My misses looked at me terrified when I told her I want to get one.
She doesn't understand the feeling of everything I bike offers that cars never could.
They're still to this day holding about 4 grand ish for a good one.
Not bad for an old bike.
Just started up with my project, by restoring a nc23 from 89.. I bought it back in 2007, so 18 years ago 😅 back then it was a friends, who had it on a lift in my garage, for him to do a service and a new clip on, on the one side.. and some other small stuff.. later he wanted to paint it, but got it torn apart, and realized, it was not a one day job.. and I bought it for a PlayStation, and let it stand on the lift until now.. wanted to wait for it to become veteran in Denmark.. but now it’s time for it to wake up (I hope) 🧐
Gorgeous. I had a CB1 400, which used the same engine. These bikes were so much better than the later CB400 4 IMO.
I love this bike, unforgettable fun even now after 40 years ,I never MEAN NEVER Had MORE NICE MOMENTS with other bike then with this , since 1992 I miss it !
I feel you brother-- I miss my 1988 hurricane 600 like a broken relationship... i have owned 20 motorcycles but that hurricane --
I had the 1988 cbr400rr great machines. Bit wet in a straight line for most people, but the handling is superb
Yes you were right with 88 being the first of them the tri-arm. The best bike ever made they say.
Got one from 1989 in my garage, but think it needs the same list, done to it.. it have been standing still for 10-15 years 😅😅
Such a gem, thanks for sharing
Thanks
Iv got an 88 RRJ the only model year that's unrestricted in red white and blue, in immaculate condition, been stored for the last 17y, looking to let it go next year.
Would you be willing to sell to us ? If so give us an email or contact us on our website ☺️
Nice to see and thanks for sharing. I'm just doing up my CBR400RR Gullarm which I last rode in 2002 when we moved house, just waiting on the back wheel which is getting powder coated before new tyres and I think it's going to be better than when new. Why do I think that? well it's mainly due to the advancement of tyres and my improved knowledge on setting up suspension etc. It's getting a whole load of new parts, too many to bore the tits off you guys with so will just have to leave that here and just hope I can still ride it without hurting myself.
I would put that bike up against the new zx4rr anyday-- It had wide rims big tires carbs aluminum frame etc et c
thinking of getting one of these for my second bike!
I rode an 88 model and had those same Battlax tires. Rode it for 4 yrs and regretted selling it. Chose those tyres as i liked the design but i have forgotten the name of Battlax series.
I usually let the bike idle once the choke grabs
What’s this worth? Selling point?
Had one lovely machine reliable loads of miles no problems
Hi. I have a nc29 in need of a tidy up is this service something you offer to customers? Thanks
Yes we do
Where did you guys source the aftermarket fairings? Looking at Chinese ones for my bike, but don't know if they're worth or no
Yes where did you get the fairings? Thank you.
Some old girls are prettier than the new ones
I wouldn't be with any good ride younger than 1990 😂

They are being put up for sale for big money and a couple of low mileage ,with full service history are maybe selling at big money most of them are up for sale for big money they aren't being brought n. , that bike you have is 2k-3k maximum .
Maybe this is true where you are from the bike sold here for 4k but that is cheap for a good running one like this in Ireland thanks tho !
lol all that money spent and you cant afford an A on the lower fairing
That's it
we had enough and sold to a very happy customer now
