- This was the scariest moments of my time on Fiverr. I wanted to make this video to share what to do to avoid your account being deactivated and being hacked on Fiverr.

This video may have literally saved my account (and more, reading the comments.) I had a buyer submit a large order with expedited delivery and a bunch of other gig extras, so it was a big dollar amount. They included a Google Drive link to the script. Unfortunately I was also blinded by dollar signs and clicked it without thinking, but luckily it took me to a strange page that asked for my e-mail, Gmail info and Google Account info to "request access." REMEMBERING THIS VIDEO red flags went up and I immediately signed out, nuked my browser history and cache, and replied asking them to attach the script (or copy/paste it into the messages.) Within a few minutes, the buyer submitted a cancellation request. I consider that a bullet dodged, thanks for the heads up! Just to be sure, I changed all my Fiverr and Google passwords as well. Scary stuff!

This exact thing happened to me. Got a message on July 3rd from a level 2 seller about a $1000 job and I downloaded the file. Normally I wouldn’t have done that, but my eyes lit up with the budget. Fortunately they didn’t hack my Fiverr, but they got into my Amazon, Steam, and eBay accounts. Very scary stuff.
I wonder if it was the exact same attack, sounds way too similar and way to close to the same date.

@@GreybeardVoiceoverLol, what a scam. Hijack voice actors Fiverr pages and then use them to con other voice actors. So happy Fiverr had your back here.

Hey there this was all cleared up! No worries at all.
It’s getting worse, my level 2 seller account got hacked and started sending numerous amount of messages to other sellers on fiverr, and it get banned. Fiverr support team is not responding as they should be they are saying you violated the TOS and you account will permanently banned after 60 days.
And i’m not alone there are many other sellers who is facing the same issue right now.
What should we do??

I'm really sorry to hear it. I'm as in the dark as you though sadly. All I did was reach out to support and they handled it. If you have a fiver success manager I'd email them as well.
This same email happened to me, and it was going around in another place, so I was able to spot it and not let it do anything yet, I don't think. It was so weird.

My fiverr account got hacked today and luckily i dont have huge amount as i withdraw time to time but they did a advance cash on it and transfer to their paypal. Contacted fiverr and they are now looking into the matter.
My question is can you please tell me how you secure your device? Or how will i know that is there any virus or access they still have or not
Malwarebytes scan is a good place to start. For me I did a full windows reinstall as well wiping everything but a few important files I scanned and backed up.
