I was aware that MS5 was an unfinished game, idk what was up with what was supposed to be mission 4, but it makes sense that the game only had 5 missions rather than 6. maybe what was supposed to be mission 4 was mixed in with the final level in the final release of the game?
And you want to say MS5 is the worst since day one? I'd say it's one of the best in the SNKP era, but still not good enough to compete against the old SNK era games (I say that because MS3 is the end of an era for Metal Slug).
@@adetreboles8547 I would consider MS5 to be closer to MSX and MS3. I don't enjoy MS6 and MS4 as I do with MS5. Even MS7 is missing some pieces to put it at the top, but it's still a well-crafted game after the classic era. If MS5 wasn't rushed, it could be one of the best classic MS games with so many new unused materials.
@@Whalery Yeah I like it a lot since it's closer to 1's more grounded tone with a different supernatural thing at the end instead of just more aliens, it fleshes out the world nicely and it goes back to people stealing the regular government's military tech but in a more advanced way instead of just stealing their blueprints and already made tanks.
