The one that catches out a lot of learners is "MAKE a mistake"....."sorry, I MADE a mistake". It's not possible to "do" a mistake. Also, "I think you made an error in your homework", never "do" an error. errors are made, not done.
Bonjour Adrien.
Nice lessons on "Do or Make," but I would like to suggest that when you are speaking in English, try to stay away from the french nasal sound. Keep your deeper voice. You go high and become more nasal when you speak English. It is not a bad accent that you have, but you , like most , your own maternal langauge influences your phonetic expression. I do the same when I speak French. I call it my "Frenglais". So , my intensions are not to offend you, but to give you my insight. You are really good in your presentations.
Thanks Adrien,
to do the dishes and to make the bed : these are correct!
Thank you for your answer
