You have to look for the symbolism of the archetype in any context. That's how it works.
For example, say the person had Scorpio from that 7th lord...they could have met their spouse in any class of school, but there may have been a poster/picture of a Scorpion on the wall when the person met the spouse.

Darakaraka's sign ( Darakaraka Venus in Sagittarius then this) is highly likely to be spouse's moon sign, sun sign or ascendant sign, ascendant lord sign or atmakaraka sign. This is tried and tested.
Also, the sign that represents the house where Darakaraka is placed ( like Darakaraka in 4th then Cancer being default 4th sign could be Moon sign, Sun Sign, Ascendant sign or the sign in which Ascendant lord or Atmakaraka is placed) could also be above mentioned signs. I have found Jaimini astrology to be very accurate. Check Upapada lagna also. Upapada lagna sign will play imp. role in spouse's chart like atmakaraka could be placed in that sign and also the planets in upapada lagna is likely to be imp. planet in spouse's chart ( like it could eb amatyakaraka or atmakaraka or ascendant lord or ascendant Nakshatra lord).

I think I met who's supposed to be my spouse. 7th lord is conjunct with Venus and rahu in 11th house, in Capricorn. I was in New Orleans, at home, my mother's home, which is a lakehouse, near crabs, with my car. We met online in an astrology group we both belonged to at time. Also I would not have still been there, and talked to her, but a neighbor hit my car and had to repair it.

Was it day time when the sun was out or in the afternoon even? It still works. Although I'm not married, I feel it still works for potential partners or temporary ones even. But My 7th lord is across Leo facing Aquarius - one met a boyfriend at an Airport (Air sign and the airport was named after a literal Aquarius. Not married but also wanted to share this has applied to almost any type of serious potential relationship or place where you meant to meet the person.
My house is TAURUS symbol in vedic & Western is gemini.
I met my ex (3 years relationship) - its a twin tower building-Luxury shopping mall - in a restaurant + the double towers symbology. I didnt see bull, but was wearing a shirt with a food symbol on it :D
Other "partner" - Again when i travelled overseas particularly nepal (Thirubhuvan airport) ,I checked up the meaning of thirubhuvan (Power of 3 worlds/ 3 lokas) Again the symbol GEMINI (3rd house)

Marriage is marriage and the symbolism will be present regardless if it’s your 1st or 50th marriage. Use sidereal. In my experience tropical doesn’t work for this particular method.
In vedic 1st spouse is represented NY 7th house . 2nd spouse 9th. 3rd 11th. And so on.
Im a Leo ascendant Saturn is placed in the 10th (just like your Leo example) my husband is a Scorpio Asc and also i met him at work (Sat in the 10th) so i think the house across also has an effect.
what else you can say about aquarius because the man with water is the only thing I heard people talk about, you gave more examples about the other signs...as cars, etc. but aquarius was too short.

You have to look by D1, Lagna, Ascendent Chart
For Aquarius look for water, so by the ocean or water spilled. I am single but my 7th lord sits in Leo and opposite it is Aquarius. My longest relationship so far (I’m 29) began with a first date at a sushi restaurant and the waitress accidentally spilled a pitcher of water on me. Unfortunately that guy and I broke up a few years ago, so my future husband probably isn’t him, unless he changes his mind about me and wants to get back together.

Check vedic astrology first off. And don’t complicate it by looking at what planets conjunct your 7th lord. Simply look at the sign that’s opposite your 7th lord.
For ex: I’m a Cancer ASC in vedic astrology. My 7th house is Capricorn. My 7th lord is Saturn in Aquarius. The sign opposite my 7th lord is Leo. I met my husband on tinder (app logo shows a flame which represents Leo) and we met in person in the month of August when it was sunny out.
