Glad to see this thumbnail didn't include the shocked face reaction photos your other videos have. Watched it for that reason alone.
Good blog high quality. I enjoyed your pacing and hand breakdowns.
Love the hand breakdowns. I feel they will help me improve my own game.
Enjoyed the session. Especially involving the solver. Hope more to come
Aww crap!!! I was there and didn't know that you were there. Would love to have taken a picture.
Good session. Love the commentary. Can’t play every hand perfectly, because truthfully many hands are correctly played by ether betting or checking! Playing the player (who is not exactly GTO) makes a lot of sense. It’s only up from here!
Great trip 8s.Tough call close to the bubble. Really nice.
Nice vlog with great analysis as usual! Played with you at Graton last week (I was on your direct left for awhile in the main). Don't know if you vlogged that one but looking forward to it if so!
I love the tournament vlogs. Keep up the good work❤
Two hands that struck me were the KK hand and the KQ hand. KK you raised 8x hoping for a call. Sklansky talks about limped pots where you’re holding a marginal hand and you want everyone to fold so you raise 7x. I would have gone 3.5x to get some action.
On the KQ hand with the AJx, I think down betting when you’re bluffing is wrong. Down bet when you’re okay with a call in a tournament. In that spot I thought you should go at least half pot with your cbet. But I think that’s what you should do all the time in a tournament anyway.
Enjoyed the vlog. Very well played tourney. Sometimes the key hands don’t work out.
Best vlog these days
I really like the integration of the solver. Much better than the typical "Not sure if this was the right play but oh well" from a lot of vlogs
do you know which solver that is that can be used for tournament spots?
@@TheNow_NowGTOWizard. You have to select "MTT" then the stack size you want. I'm not sure how much functionality the free version has (if there is one)
@@jacobm3461 do you know if Gto wiz can account for limp callers, which do frequently happens in live poker? Or do you just enter it in as like a Cutoff open vs BB defend?
@@TheNow_Now At shorter stacks (
Trying to understand villains possible thought process betting 99 on the turn when board reads KJ5c7c. He calls flop bet ok he’s “sticky” but I think PFA has more value hands in her range than flush draws. I don’t understand if he’s betting for value or bluffing.
GG. On to the next one. Good luck 👍
Great vlog! Really thought you'd get ITM but unfortunately didn't!
Would be great to have an idea of the remaining field each hand to sweat the tournament even more!
ggs! love the analysis
I like the tournament vlogs with the solver!
Gotta have my PFA fix.
before seeing the end, already hoping this is a Deep run/Final table showdown.. i love these kinds of tourneys, with bigger stacks, good level times, and a guarantee that usually brings in extra players to push it past that guarantee almost every time.
side note:... it looked like about as good a played tourney as you can do, but,, "dems da breaks"..
coin flips, even ahead, that dont go your way, well, just hope to see the same level of play in the next tourney, with a final table run at least..
As always, I totally enjoyed your session. 😊
That 💎 flush draw was sweeeet!!!
I’m not sure it’s credible to say “we’re just getting started” when your 1st vlog dropped nearly 3 years ago. However, I still love your content.
Good job.
GOOD MORNING AND GOOD LUCK TO YOU POKERFACEASH HAVE FUN TOO AND HAPPY HALLOWEEN TOO
yay
Gutsy shove with the 10bb AQ offsuit. Total bummer that you bricked out. I'm leery of AQ offsuit hands no matter what, especially out of position. Better luck next time, Ashley! 😎 (P.S. What GTO solver were you using? Thanks!)
Nice
Calling station
I have come to the realization that Q-J stinks as an opening hand. I fold it automatically now, even the suited variations. Just not worth it.
You had me on the edge of my seat in this one.
On the hand with KK, you said you didn't get max value. You did given how that hand played out. No one calls you on the river without having your KK beat. If that player is a true calling station you don't need to set-up river jams to get his chips. Just pick the flop or turn, jam, and watch as he donks his tournament life away.
Lets goooo
