I went to uni with Kenyans, lived with some of them and dated a Kenyan girl in Australia. I was blown away with how developed Kenya is. Nairobi is unbelievably developed with many sky scrapers. In Nigeria, all we really know about Kenya is wildlife and marathon. I love their nyama choma and kachumbari. My ex is a Kikuyu, she taught me some Swahili as well 😊

My coworker is from Kenya & he is also tall & slim. He’s also very comedic 😄. I also remember we had a Nigerian exchange student in my high school in America & he was so advanced, he did not even have to study much because he already surpassed what we were learning. It’s interesting to listen to what Nigerians think of us. I’ve interacted with quite a number and they all assume that Kenyans are all dark and slim. The tribe falls under the Nilotic speaking people who belong to the same language group as the Sudanese.We know that Sudanese have Africans with the darkest complexion and we all should be proud as Africans. Long story cut short, don’t assume that all Kenyans are dark and slim like those you see in marathons. Besides, those are slim due to vigorous exercises. Maybe more Nigerians watching Kenyan shows ,would help break the stereotypes.

I laughed all the way through when I heard how Nigerians view us Kenyans. It's amazing. The skin piercing issue is a culture in most parts of Sub-saharan Africa. In Kenya, it's widely Among the Maa community. We are great marathoners, especially the Kalenjin community of Kenya. I laughed all the way through when I heard how Nigerians view us Kenyans. It's amazing. The skin piercing issue is a culture in most parts of Sub-saharan Africa. In Kenya, it's widely Among the Maa community. We are great marathoners, especially the Kalenjin community of Kenya. We're a varied composition I'd say, from black to brown to thin and fat etc. We love watching Nigerian movies. We love tea and storytelling, mark these. I'm glad we're held is high esteem by our brothers and sisters in Nigeria. I enjoyed watching.
I love Nigerians too. I have visited and stayed in Obafemi Awolowo University in Ife for three months. They are as welcoming as Kenyans. We are one BIG African family.
