get yourself a scooter instead, if you really want a pedal from eventide decide if its reverb (Blackhole) or delays...cause if its only luscious reverbs you dont need this , ons way over priced

When are these fools going to realize that iOS is not the only mobile platform in the world? There are many times more Android-based devices available and sold wolrdwide. After the Amplifi was released by Line6, the #1 most requested "feature", by leaps and bounds, was to be able use it with Android. They finally complied and I'm guessing they will easily sell more of these now that the majority of users can use all of the available features. Besides, most people just expect that things work with Android now.
Maybe it's because of compatibility issues? It's a lot easier to design for iOS since the harware is standard, whereas with Android you have a ton of different hardware to support. Even then, they should consider releasing an app, even if it is with fewer supported devices to begin with.
Atul Lasrado correct plus many musicians use Macs for recording and music production. It is a defacto standard on the road, at home, in the studio. It is also a matter of support: The more platforms you serve the more expensive the support will be. At the end it is a business decision.
spooney Apple's evolution has been interesting. A decade ago they were the 'hip' company with cool products all the others were plain and boring and business-like. Right now Android is at the bleeding edge of tech and innovation, while Apple is edging towards being somewhat utilitarian (focusing more on having things that work better even though they are not exactly new). ***** Check your e-mail. I received instructions on how to upgrade today and I'll be doing it the moment I get home. It essentially works this way: Purchase 10 algorithms in total (previous purchases count towards this number) before April 2015 and your H9 is automatically upgraded to a MAX. For an H9 Core users, the number of purchases is 15. After April, these numbers go up...20 algorithm purchases. I also believe this only works for current registered users. I don't believe you can go into a store and buy an H9 today and get the same deal. This is only for existing (before today) H9 users.
this particular demo didnt sound particularly great, HOWEVER pete thorn has two of these on his board and that guy OWNS tone. thats enough of a selling point to make me take note
Nice pedal, but re the Boys are Back in Town riff. That was the wrong harmony. The only way I've managed it live is to use two presets/scales (on a Line 6 M5) using an expression pedal on both to change the interval (from 3-4 up/down) for some notes.
I'd sell the Strymons and take the money you saved for the H9 and just get a rackmount Eventide. A DSP7000 could be had for about the same price and it'd blow the doors off this thing.
I would never use this for anything drive or distortion when there are so many analog pedals for that. I got my H9 for all my mod and time based effects
Analog fuzzboxes are never going to sound like an amp, I guess when Eventide put their amp modelling department to work and catch up with Kemper and Line6
IMHO: 06:23 the spring reverb sounds horribly digital and un-bread`n`butter-like... Having said that, this(/these) pedal(s) is awesome in many respects
Hey Marcelo, I have my H9 set to DSP+FX in the bypass mode settings. This gives you spillover when you turn off the effect with the bypass button. I stand corrected on the spillover from algorithm to algorithm though, the H9 will not do that, unfortunately. Regardless , it is still the best multi effect pedal on the market IMHO.

+bootlegapples I think that might have more to do with the pedal. Half of these effects wouldn't make sense with those styles.
