Got my internships revoked during college due to covid and now that I've graduated, most internships don't accept new grads nor do most entry level jobs without relevant experience. Definetely keep applying during undergrad so you don't get stuck in limbo like me. Edit: I did end up getting hired after about a year. I applied to many places within a 12 hour car ride away from where i was currently staying. Also kept working on personal projects, doing certs, practicing interviewing, etc. Unemployment being low definetely helped since less ppl looking for jobs and the cascade of higher level employees applying for lower level jobs seems to have slowed down or stopped. However, the ratio of positions being canceled was still relatively high (1/4jobs)

@@TamerShaheen like which parts of core classes are most important/applicable to actual work. ex: x calculus concept is used in y process (that is super applicable), but z calculus concept is not used 90% of the time. but across the different core engineering subjects
This video is key 🔑 I'm currently going through the same internship process at Concordia university in Quebec. What kind of questions do they ask at tech company interviews?
They tend to ask general questions specific to the major you are in. Electrical and chemical engineers will have very different questions
I'm going to uni next year, should I apply for start-ups only during holiday times or should I just do as much as possible?
Hi Tamer I'm a big fan of your videos. I'm starting to take Engineering classes at cc and as I start planning the next 4 years, I was wondering how helpful government internships like with the CIA or FBI might be? Thanks in advance :)
