Please survive this. Stinky tofu is a true art.
survive this?
@Qtri Nity closed your head la. Don't know don't anyhow say.
Still doing well!
This type of series nice leh. Shows us the face, the brains and most crucially, the heart behind these food businesses. Connecting us better.
This is exactly what food bloggers should be doing all along.
Wow I never knew there was still stinky tofu in Singapore! 😍 At least now we don't have to travel to Taiwan to eat it.
Thanks for the video and recommendation! :)
Neither did I so it's good news although Geylang is a daunting area to me. Missed a chance to try this unique eat years ago in Hong Kong as I chickened out. Now need to muster up courage and go for it before they vanish too like many good eats.
please carry on, i have eaten stinky tofu since i was young and suddenly it was so hard to find somewhere in sg that has it till i came across this shop & its really good too!!!
Once you get used to it, the deep fried ones aren’t stinky enough - gotta upgrade to the steamed ones!
You very hard core leh.
for some reason i think they really toned down on the stinkiness, i remember back then when i last had smelly tofu like a decade ago, it really stank up the house...this one just wasn't as stinky but it's probably better this way..
When the owner says customers thought that the stinky Beancurd is made of shit excrement....I really lmao ! 😂😂😂
Tempat pasar malam di hougang pun kena complain pasal ini. Yg complain pun mereka jugak.
I want try ah..like nice only..
My husband love stinky tofu we got it from the Chinese supermarket.
Excellent
The Bugis still have ?
Limited edition in Singapore
“是不是大便做的?”😂🤣
Lol grab food the bag confirm damn smelly
Why did the daughter speak so fast? It was as if she had a time limit to beat.
Just watch the video la so much to complain aiyo take a chill pill
I think she speaks well
I ate their Stinky Tofu since young when he was selling in Chinatown and move to Gaylang after Chinatown store create trouble for him.
I love his Stinky Tofu and deep Pig intestines. Sadly, their Tofu is not as stinky as in HK version and the Pig Intestines is not as big as HK version. But, not going to HK, you still can have almost HK version of Stinky Tofu and Deep Fry Pig Intestines.
didn't know it's available on grab and food panda. yippee!
All the best! hope you survive so that I can try it when I'm in Singapore next time.
Yes, do carry on. Food culture is so important. It is important to nurture entrepreneurship in Singapore. You will never become rich working for others. Singapore needs home grown companies. Use this time to keep up with the times and gain new fans.
They only marinaded the stinky tofu for 3 1/2hrs so might not be as good as the HK version. But still good to have it a try, but sure reminds me that something is missing in recent pasar malam.
If too stink, neighbours complain la. Came out in newspapers before. That's also why a few others closed down. Not because nobody eat. Because of conflict with neighbours.
Everybody wanna eat. Nobody wanna be next to stinky tofu.
I pity the poor food delivery boy, the whole bag sure stink to high heaven post delivery
Nobody would steal his bag 😂
Haha
If I am not wrong it is nearby to City plaza and grandlink plaza?

Last time I had this stinky tofu, wen I was in Hong kong (Mong Kok night market). It’s so 😋😋😋

The smells quite noticeable all the way from Paya Lebar MRT station circle line exit.
Taste quite awesome.

If only he spoke Hokkien, Hakka or Cantonese instead...
And of course Teochew.
He actually speaks Cantonese as his main language. But because of translation reasons, he spoke Mandarin instead.
