Amen and Amen sister Joyce. Your message is loud and clear. We as children of God need to hear this message on how being adopted by God thru the blood of Jesus (salvation) we are heirs with Jesus. So, whatever the Father (God) has in store for his son is also shared with us because we gaved our life to Christ and we are now born-again (saved) and we have equal rights to receive Gods blessings over our lives. And because God loves us we now have our extended (second) family and are members in the body of Christ. How awesome it is to know God accepts us as his very own. And its all because Jesus died on the Cross for us even when we were still sinners. How great God is to embrace us as his although sometimes our Earthly family does not. God love replaces all the hurt, shame and pain our present family give us. No one can out love us like God (and his son Jesus) can...nobody!!! It’s so confusing talking to God
Jesus gave up a bad weekend and went on to become ruler of the universe? You call that a sacrifice? At least when Elvis died for me, he stayed dead🙂
Jesus didn't just "give up a weekend" and He didn't just "become the ruler of the universe". Jesus is 100% God and He loved the world so much that He left His rightful heavenly throne and was born into flesh making Him also 100% human. Jesus didn't just suffer on the cross, He suffered His entire life. The suffering He went through on the cross was so horrific that His body was unrecognizable afterward. Jesus was undeserving of such punishment but He humbled himself to the point of death on the cross so that our sins would not separate us from God. Because Jesus did for us what none of us could do for ourselves, that is, Jesus lived a completely sinless life. God showed that He accepted Jesus' sacrifice as payment\ atonement by raising Jesus from the dead and restoring Him back to His rightful place. When we believe in Jesus we also accept His payment on our behalf and we are also restored back to God again and when Jesus comes back to reign on earth we will be raised to life from the dead like Jesus was and we will reign with Him because we are children of God like Jesus is and we are co-heirs with Jesus! But those who reject Jesus will have to pay for their own sins. They reject and deny God so God will give them what they want and they will be separated from God for all of eternity. An eternity separate from God is one in horrific pain and misery because you are away from the life giving force of your Creator. So please reconsider your beliefs because Jesus loves you and your ETERNAL soul is on the line.
