yeah exactly, if you attempt to proceed to the end of a phase, your opponent has a chance to respond with any spell speed 2 effect, after which the game state will maintain it's ongoing phase, until the turn player choses to proceed to that end of phase again
that's not how the card works, since the effect you chose out of the 3 has to be declared at activation, and ash only has the ability to negate an effect that includes searching/special summoning/foolishing from deck at activation. When you are using the steal effect, none of that is included, so ash cannot be used

This also works great against Floo, since dreaming town in main phase only. Bad floo players will shotgun the dreaming town to put up an Apex Avion.

I guess if you declare „BP“ and the opponent reacts with appolousa summoning the game state is still MP1? Wow, that evenly bluff idea is great.
