I would actually love the orignal prodotypes of the 3 main ghouls, I adore draculaura’s older outfit, the boots and jackets are so cute. It would be cool to have these as collector dolls, by that I mean the outfits as aluminati dolls (that mattel can distribute horribly and allow scammers to buy in bulk and sell off because that makes sense)
I forget where I heard but Jinafire was originally supposed to be a water dragon because Chinese dragons are traditionally water. I love Jinafire but I would of as well preferred her as a water dragon. I guess they felt they needed more fire element in the line.
I actually really like Skelita and Jinafire’s prototypes a lot. Maybe even more than the final version. I love the bone corset thing on Skelita and the extra fins on Jinafire just makes her look more dragon like and I absolutely love it.
i think a fun idea with the prototype MH dolls is that mattel should release a 2-pack with the final original design and the prototype of the same doll if that makes sense like for example final release wave 1 g1 operatta with protoype operatta in a 2-pack. i just think a 2-pack with the protoype and original wave 1 g1 doll would be cool. Also not just operatta maybe others like frankie, clawdeen, cleo, lagoona, draculaura, deuce, toralei, nefera, abbey, spectra, ghoulia ect.

I don’t think the freak du chic frankie test doll had picnic casket’s screening, I just zoomed it and had a look, comparing it to mine, and I think it had a different shade of lipstick, but I could be just the lighting
I know this is a contervisal take but-draculaura looks so much better with regular human skintone The only thing i wish they keepet from the clawdeen proto type is the curly textured hair tbh That skelita prototype just looks cursed 😭 and i dont think it would go well if they were to make jinafire yellow, the fins are nice tho

Okay I’m not a huge fan a the jinafire doll but the prototype is amazing!!! I like her so much more with the yellower skin and green lips! Wish they went with her
I think jinafire would be cuter with yellow skin. Jinafire is one of my favourite ghouls but idk I don’t rlly care for the gold skin I like the solid yellow look with the dark green lips yes girl

Euna is a Kumiho, not a Kitsune. While both are nine tailed foxes, Kitsune are specifically Japanese, and Euna is a Korean character.
