Couple of years late, but PostalCode is string, not number, so greater/lesser doesn’t work as you expected. Probably that’s why the rule wasn’t working.

The problem with the Account, that you set in Golden Account rule the annual revenue to greater that 10k and your account was set to 1200.

Hey SFDCPanther, I have one query what if we do not assign any rule to parent Territory where we have user assigned and assign rule to child territory. Example if I assign user at Northern California Territory and Apply rule to its child i.e. Child Northern California.; on which basis Account will be shared?

Can we use territory mangement for custom objects or it is applicable only for standard objects.

It's only applicable for standard object. If you want to implement for custom object then you need to customize it

Doubt: Didn't understand use of Priority in the Territory Type. Observations: 1)The assignment rules run in AND logic 2) If there are no assignment rules for a territory, then that territory wont be assigned
