New fan here, I love the video, which is not only super fun to watch and is so full of information! If I may add one piece of information as an automotive mechanic, I would recommend doing an oil change when the break-in period is finished.
The weather looks great and it is good to see you fishing again! Nice boat and motor . Keep on living the dream! Steven from Boston Ma !😎🇺🇸🍀⚓️☃️Cold up here!☃️🤪
You’ll enjoy that mercury! As a tech I’ve been impressed with the 75-115hp engines. Smooth and good power. Plus you have the command thrust gear case which really makes for a great outboard.
One comment. You should have had your kill switch on and PFDs when you try out a new rig. Ya, never know what could happen. Friends of mine had a new Zodiac and decided to try it out in a secluded inlet in Alaska. They got thrown out. The good news was the throttle was set to be held down or it would go to idle and the trim tab made the boat circle. They rescued themselves.
Great video as always. Just 2 things not touched on, for people who don’t know, when trimming the motor up be careful not to go too high. This will cause cavitation which lowers performance and can harm the engine. 2nd, it is typically recommended to service a new motor at 20hrs to replace the break-in oil. That’s all, love your videos.
What If you have a larger boat or motor, do the break-in test parameters change? Really enjoy the topics you cover on your Channel. God bless GFT!!! 🤜🤛👍
Congrats on the motor re-power, ladies. Please consider a life jacket next time. I know y'all are professionals, but It only takes a split second to get knocked off or get unconscious. Have fun but be safe ladies.
How does someone track hours with no gauges? I run a 65hp jet on a inland river. Most runs are under a 1/2 hour at the most. Also can you do a video on polling on the flats with wind and currents?
@@michaelwallace7587 Michael, I have a 115 Suzuki 2022 and the Tachometer registers the hours on the motor. When you turn on the key the tach needle moves to the hours used then goes to zero and you start your motor. I added an hour meter to my boat, didn't trust just using the tach.
Your post is getting farther apart. I love your channel but you are getting hard to follow. I don't know what is going on with you girls. I hope all is well. I think you are great and you are my favorite producers.
Always enjoy your laughter and the love you share with your sister
It's good to see you girls back fishing and teaching that's what I enjoyed the most and thank you
Congrats on the repower. I liked the little Flats Class easter egg with the speed runs.
I was a little critical about the last video and I’m really glad this video is back on track and about what y’all are doing and how you’re doing it.
Love that you guys don't "Show off your bits" etc for views.
..so much respect for yall and yalls content creation!
Lots of soul from Texas~
Thank you for watching!! We appreciate that 😊

In a zodiac depending in size, occupants sit on the side tubes. This is a little different. Besides, life jacket comments are so, so tired.
Boom! Moving on up like the jeffersons!
Yamaha loss is Mercury's gain! Congrats
GFT & Kona 2! 😊
Thank you 😊

What is it that you're wearing around your neck? Is it to shield it from the wind?
What prop do you guys have on the boat?
Great job twins!
Thanks for sharing 🍸. We Love your vids.🎉
I was very much hoping you were going to show us the design of the propeller missed opportunity for content
What is the weight on that Vessel?

You need to look into a sharp boat propeller
Was that a manatee y'all blew by off the starboard side of the boat??? 6:32
Nope! It was a crab trap buoy with seaweed stuck to it
I had to watch twice. 😮

Did you do a similar break in process on the Invincible? Is there any difference with multiple motors vs single?
What happened to the Intrepid!?
I'm so in need of some salt therapy!
You silly girls you have to break the motor in first before you go full throttle very important if you wanna keep your warranty
Emily and Amanda gale. I like two go fishing with you ladies some time won I get back down to Florida for next year in 2024 Emily and Amanda gale.
Going that Fast without a Lifevest ?…… Get a Mustang Survival next time….
Not required by law. Live and let live safety Sally.
They are captains, they know what they are doing. But thanks for thinking of the girls safety .❤
Such a Florida thing. No culture of safety on the water or anywhere else.
Not the law but they are examples for so many boaters across the country.
Just making sure they are safe….. they are too precious, we want them around 4ever…… coming from an Old Man and a father to 2 daughters too
is it cold or just protecting the skin from the sun?
