Evolutionary Science and Christianity: Integrating Science and faith with Dr. Art Borkent

Art Borkent is an evolutionary scientist and a professing Christian.
As an entomologist, Dr Borkent is a research associate of the Royal British Columbia Museum (Victoria BC)and the American Museum of Natural History (New York, USA) [and, prior to its dissolution, the Instituto Nacional de Biodiversidad (Costa Rica)], was the recipient of the 2010 J.O. Westwood Medal, is the co-editor of Volume 1 and 2 of the "Manual of Central American Diptera", and has published more than 4800 pages of referred science.
As a lifelong Christian, Dr Borkent has counselled many students who have struggled with the difficulty of discovering that the world is different than the understanding they inherited from their families and faith communities.
Dr. Borkent will present Creation as a source of spiritual revelation, similar to holy scripture, drawing on his own practical experience and real examples of how faith and science mesh.
