Second video of my huge list of edits done/almost done on them :D
I started this one randomly, because it's a song that I always adored. The theme is kinda similar from the first one - lust, dark possession, etc - with another kind of aesthetic, but not all of my edits will be on this mood.
I still hope that you will enjoy it !

Well, well, I actually don't think that they tried to make Daemon unlikable (I'm among the ones who adored the last episode for him and for them and who thinks that every scene of them in it make senses with their character and with their relationship) but they're surprise that we love Daemon is still funny because lol they should get, after all of these years, that the bad guys are always the most loved characters.

I disagree! I mean even Rhaenyra didn’t care about the neck grabbing, she was more surprised that Daemon didn’t know about the prophecy.. maybe they just like it rough 🤣

Rhaenyra Targaryen has my heart and I hope Daemon won't betray her cause many people are gonna break her heart. Really hope Daemon isn't one of them.
We will have to see how the writers will choose to write the season 2 for it, and what they will do with the stuff from the books, fingers crossed!

I think they will have to make her believe he betrayed her but we the audience will know or at least suspect that he actually didn't. Which will be agonizing, regardless. I'm even debating whether I should just keep my sanity and not watch the rest of the show once Daemyra goes to shits, lol, I may not be able to take it.

The most upsetting part about all of this is that they took away not just Rhaenrya and Daemon but also from Mysaria and Daemon and from Laena and Daemon.
Daemon treated his ladies with so much care. With Rhaenrya it’s was described she was fallowing him since she could walk ( which is a signature Targaryen thing when two blood siblings would married it was described with Jaehaerys/ Alyssane and with Alyssa/Barlon. Targaryen women like to chase after their dragons until they are finally wedded to them) when daemon would return to court he would bathe her with gifts and trips and they truly enjoy flying their dragons together to dragonstone and back. With Mysaria he made her his paramour. Daemon met her around the time he was 16/17 and since then he took her everywhere he went with him. When Mysaria lost their baby that is when daemon truly go upset with Viserys. He gave her a dragon egg for their baby as it was tradition. With Laena he took her everywhere in essos they visit the free cities, asshai even the ruins of old valyria. When Baela and Rhaena were 2 they travel back to drifmark. Laena died after 3 days of battling child bed fiver. She died in the arms of her husband in her home, with her family.
He raised Jace, Luke, and Joff explain why he reacted the way he did when Luke died. He protected his daughters and sons. When Rhaenrya wanted to go to kings landing and burn everyone specially alicent after she find out they stole her crown daemon was the one that control her anger and told her to think first. Not used the dragons yet.
When Luke died Daemom went all out. He was like f that you touch one of my babies let see how you will feel now if one of yours is touch.
Even with Nettles it was described he took her everywhere with him, the girl will sleep in the same room as him, bathe with him and when Rhaenrya order her execution and for daemon to return to her daemon let her leave. Lord Mooton explain to Rhaenrya by that Daemon took a particular fatherly responsibility to the child teaching her basic manners, and things like that it was Mysaria that poison rhanerya’s mind with nettles. But Rhaenrya was too far gone. She had an open marriage to daemon Targaryen are like that but after losing all her children horribly she didn’t want this girl to take daemon from her too. And worse she believed nettles was using dark magic to keep Daemon to herself because Rhaenrya didn’t believed that daemon would even go for someone like nettles as he had a taste for Valyrian features only.
So obviously Ryan and Sarah hate George RR Martin favorite character and wishes to destroy it just like D/D did with George original 5 characters Jon, Arya, Tyrion, Daenaerys and Bran.
I don't know if I entirely agree with this view of Daemon. I think it's a bit too idealized a view of the character, although I'm not denying that he did a lot of good things, but I think rather that in the show they wanted to make his darkness more visible and present, because the way George wrote him, in Fire & Blood, he's a character portrayed in history, not a character that we follow through his point of view or anything and it's easy to see only the good side of his actions, but George also portrayed Daemon as a hero as well as a villain. If we see the character only from this angle, which the book allows us to do, then we forget half of what Daemon is. I think Ryan and Sarah rather wanted to force the audience to see all that Daemon is. Personally, I appreciate that because it makes his character more deep and complex.

The show runners literally wrote them as a freaking romance novel couple the entire season & then don’t understand why the audience ships them or why so many like his character 🙄. So ridiculous. They even wrote Daemon’s character differently than the books & so far he’s not even the cheater he is in the books. So ridiculous.
I don't agree with this, though I thank you very much for have watched the edit and commented it! But I don't think they actually wrote them in a romance novel, quite the contrary and I do think that Daemon is the best character adapted from the books and are exactly like he was in the books, for the cheating part, we are not on that part yet but even if they erase this, he's toxic in many others way so I'm really happy with what they did of the couple in the show.
I wouldn’t say they made them like a romance novel couple not that they didn’t do a good job with his character but they certainly took out his redeeming qualities (he loved his family and was a public hero).
