Gotta love Papaji - human beings insist on making life so complicated. Just be quiet and still for a second - that is the goal. Attainable for all - the beauty is this will expand the more you do it. Showed my wife this video. Always tell my two kids you are the fountain, not the empty buckets! Practice no thought for one second!
On a packed, 🥵 hot train, getting in to London Liverpool Street this morning I closed my eyes, surrounded by lots of people, focused on the breath and had no thought for at least 45 seconds. It felt so peaceful 🙏🏾Train juddered to a stop - eyes open. I try to have these ‘no thought’ moments as much as possible during each day. There’s a deep connection and peace available at any time in any circumstances. Nothing material or on the outside world will find that connection.
What a great soul Papagi is - I love it when he laughs - or as we say in my house ‘rolls up’! 👍💪😎Thank you - invaluable teaching - remember you are your own guru, teacher and expert. Just be still and be quiet - that’s it🙏🏾

@Attila Beres great question. There are two types of thoughts. Those that trouble us and those that don’t.
One would say it is ok to have harmless thoughts only be free from painful thoughts.
That is ok however mind has a way to lead us from harmless thoughts through indulgence to miserable thoughts where we forget that we can stop those.
Papaji demonstrates here that thoughts may seem to happen on their own and we are at their mercy but in reality we generate them from our store house of desires ans at any time we can choose to have our peace.

Papaji is a living Presence who has realized the futileness of anything other than "emptiness." Unlike all the other masters, he even eliminates spiritual disciplines. I am sure, though, spiritual disciplines got us to the point of being in his presence. But he is saying, okay, that is past. Now you are here. Now drop all that came before. Some are willing to do it and some are not. And Papaji knows all too well our addiction to thinking and he constantly reminds us that it is as simple as refusing the invitation to engage in thought and just be present. But he is an opening for that presence. It is always easier to follow Papaji's prompts to get disentangled from thoughts and emotions. His way is almost like a little comedy skit and he does it so patiently and jovially knowing that if you are there with him, you are meant to receive this. There are no mistakes. If you are with him, it is your time to awaken and his awakening is easy. Emphasizing again that those drawn to him have already done enough sadhana to be at the brink of awakening. Swami Rama once told me that in India, the only gift to give a spiritual master is dry sticks. You are dried out and now you ask the Master for His Spark to ignite what's left of you addictions. If your branches are still green with the desire for fresh experiences, the spark, although still there, will not ignite efficiently. Desire to engage in thought and activities will postpone your entry into this moment of emptiness. Papaji is so refreshing and a great boon for those of us that are not the highest quality yogis, the 3rd and 4th raters, with non-perfect posture and meticulous diet. But, again, if you are receiving Papaji's message, you are fortunately ready or else you would be repelled by his presence. Thank you, dear Papaji...

"There are no mistakes. If you are with him, it is your time to awaken and his awakening is easy. Emphasizing again that those drawn to him have already done enough sadhana to be at the brink of awakening."
Did he really say that himself?

of course not. this is obviously what it is called "comments." so, I made my comment. if he said it, why the need to reiterate what he said?

It took some time to understand what Papa means by: Dont think for one second.
He doesnt mean just one seperate second, does he?
He means the second which is always just now, right? :) to be aware of this present instant second, where there's no time..
