    With 15 years of cubing experience, and as someone who does cross on left, I have to say I find this interesting. I predicted this innovation back in 2012 on a speedsolving.com interview. I talked about a multi slotting technique that allows you to solve 2 f2l pairs at once. Google my name and speedsolving.com. Also, back in 2016 I coined the term pseudo slot but for a method involving ZZ I was working on. Needless to say I was surprised to hear anyone talking about it in 2020, albeit in a different sense but same term...

    • @TripDadLife
      @TripDadLife 4 года назад +1

      From the interview I did:
      What will the future of cubing be like and how would you like cubing to progress?
      The future of cubing will be much like it is now, obviously with more people, but I think it will die off again around the year 2020. I predict that for 3x3 times will get around 5 seconds but no faster than that, guaranteed. Hopefully televising at least Worlds will happen in the next couple years. Fridrich will stay the most common method, until one develops a highly advanced form of algorithmic multi-slotting that combines F2L pairing/insertions to get F2L consistently in 3 seconds and over all move counts to average 30-35.

    After 7 years of learning more and more f2l algorithms and archieved the best goal of my life, improve from 25 sec. On average to 32 seconds on average (I'm serious) I will give this method a second chance, the reason why I've quitted pseudo was the 2/3 minutes avg, I felt something like too much indoctrinated into standard f2l to change and learning something new, but I think that thankfully to this video I understood some mistakes I've made during pseudo learning/training thank you

      @@CubeHead Hi there, thank you for the interest, and sorry for delay; this is one of the most interesting f2l methods I've learned until now, for the moment is hard to know when I will see the first progress , having only half hour maximum 1 hour per day for studing, I will need a lot of months to improve. Now I've focused one of a myriad of problems and I'm looking again the video to understand how to work with a free standard pair, and really easy 2 standard pairs (when the brain decide to look ahead). I've watched some yours videos, really cool concepts I saw myself (as a bad example) when you spoken about algorithms (Lear the best algorithms and fingerticks at the same time). Started to study 7 years ago most of 2look pll and oll are older than me, worst algorithms and fingertriks set of the world. So I hope you'll improve far with 2x2 have a good luck

    I definitely think i somewhat do this already... Like, i solve cubes really wierd like, but i think i sorta get it....
    Like.... First, i solve the whole thing sodeways with a yellow "cross" due to how the brain comprehends color... I solve cfop like its roux, i solve roux luke its petris, and petris i mostly ise for practicing ol poccmann...
    But once i got into roux i started somewhat doing this solving pairs "in a roux type of way" before i understood that ment the middle.... But then i did the middle one and like.. sorta quit keeping track of how i got there, so like.... Maybe?
    I mean i dropped from a 39 second average to like 20 essentially overnight when i started doing the middle thing with roux.... Idk probably not

    I was wondering if I should switch from advanced f2l to this for all solves or would it be better to stick to normal f2l

      Just try to do that whenever you get one edge and one corner solved, you can imply this technique when you find two edges adjacent to each other are solved as well since it requires you only a three move insert a corner to setup a pseudoslot cases and if edges you take out are solved means that you don't have to rotate during pseudoslot
