AA Car of the year and 1NCAP award. Some thing needs recalibration both for fairness to manufacturer and to reassure the motoring public. It possibly exceeds previously rated 5 star cars from just a few years ago. Fine looking car with a bit of a Volvo vibe going on at the rear end?
Agreed these things can be bought for 15k on the European mainland! Why is this not the focus of motoring news in Ireland. And why isn't it compared to highlight this tot he public?? It's crazy!
As a Renault partner, Dacia should be able to achieve a better NCAP result. But the number of Dacias on the roads here…..well, people are buying lots of them. Great video.
As I said before the same car in the basic trim here 24 grand but the same car in France 🇫🇷 it 14 grand, we are being taken to the cleaners with VRT in this country, sad at the end of the day,
Brilliant review as always, The bi-fuel LPG one would be great especially with the price of fuel atm and there is meant to be a hybrid coming soon apparently not sure what one of the hybrid but hopefully the near 200 bhp one 🤔
@@NobbyOnCars Hybrid just out in UK but 4,600 Euros more than the same spec petrol, it’s slower and average mpg on 56 compared to 48. Shame - I was waiting for this to come out but I think I’ll go for the petrol one instead now - extra money just isn’t worth it.

You think that’s bad? Wait for the hybrid model coming in the summer. It’s starting at £22,000 Sterling in the UK so most like more than €30k here!
Just got the top spec one. Loving it.

24k is good n all but the dealers (atleast kearys in cork) want 28k for the base model
