I just found out about this song yesterday and I love everything about it everything from the aesthetic art to the chill lofi beat in the background and the kinda dark lyrics IT'S JUST SO GOOD MMMMMMMMMM
So i just realized solanine is a cancerous substance and it opened a whole layer of genius for this song at least for me, it is as if within all this "reluctant tired acceptance" (thanks potatoboy for the expression), rav knows that this is the mentality that is making him feel mediocre and miserable (given by the tone of the song) as if it is a cancer eatin at his passion to live, he resorts to blaming the world or to blaming himself but the self-awareness that his thoughts are slowly killing him makes this song almost tragic and sad, i always thought this was a song i shouldn't empathize with because of the message i thought it tried to give off was just a call to accept mediocrity and live off excuses but rav realizes that too and that almost makes me tear up.
