I’m a person that enjoys decorating. So what I recommend is keeping everything neutral and only setting out a few things to go with in the the season. Like putting a sweater over a deco pillow to make it look fall/winter or using a red throw that I got as a gift for Christmas. Printing some pics and putting it in existing picture frames or painting over art I don’t care for anymore. When summer is the around my items go with the spring/summer.
Honestly I biggest way that I stop spending money was to get rid of my internet on my phone and on my house only use it at work and the library it was a big detoxification of my online addiction not just shopping but been on reddit RUclips and playing online games. Now I’m out side more often than not I even know my neighbors lol help them with remodeling project the other day or I meet this older lady at the library who loves doing puzzle their and I say with her and did the puzzle for like 3 hours talking shit to each other she is awesome haha 😂 idk I save a lot by doing that but I never been a big shopper at physical stores so might not work for someone who is
Jaz Tadz Yes to a no spend year! My usual state is no spend. That’s why I am planning on doing a spend year in 2020 since I‘m fighting compulsive saving.
Proud of you Kyra and all of your positive changes! Never stop sharing your tips and tricks! The inspiration is pretty invaluable to everyone fighting against what they want in the moment versus their big life goals. You've made a big impact in my life!❤️
Thank you for these helpful tips! I've been slowly getting better at not over-spending and I want to get even better...I like the idea of little challenges, like today was a No Spend Day, and I passed! 🎉 Another thing I find helpful is, if I'm online shopping, I'll add items to my Cart, but won't purchase them. I wait for the next day/a few days later, where I am no longer caught up in the/that moment, and I usually find, that I no longer want the items!
I started doing this recently and it was such a reality check it feels so good mentally to pay all the bills and like she said whatever is left if anything that's what you have to work with before I never knew where I stood and I was just winging it spending way more than I made now I'm keeping my head above water even though barely LOL
Hi , can you do a minimalism video just for woman , i mean to be a woman cost so much and im new on minimalism community and i need ideas and hacks even advices as a woman
I got into the habit on Amazon to put stuff in the cart and then put it in the save for later list. Most of the time I'll delete it after I look at it again. I only go to the store and I stick to my list.
I used to spend so much on useless things. Im getting way better at it but ended up with having to spend a lot on my car and dentist out of nowhere and now my girlfriend isnt working and i have to be the one doing the spending. Still, I hope to pay all my debt at March the most. Slowly getting there. Nice video. 👍🏻
Hi Kyra ur videos changed my life completely thank for that.now my request is that u make videos on the utility of things like as ur reuseble videos u make video on kitchen reuseble item. cupbard couch ,bed storage item etc etc. Thank again.
I have always end up impulse buying. I'm now feeling really guilty. My boyfriend and I figured out because of me being poor as a kid and the first half of my adult life when I had it I started buying alot of useless stuff. I literally hid my cards unless I needed them.
The plant to your left reminds me of Billy’s hair from Hocus Pocus lol Also yes, last night I spend $60 on crystals, my crystals are like my plants to you, but to be fair I started my Dave Ramsey snowball debt and paid off $5.5k in the last month 😁
Your videos have been soooooo freaking helpful. You give way better advice than my dad. (He hates talking about money) I just want to say thank you for your videos,
I wish you put the links, especially for the sponge. Otherwise, thanks for the tips. My favorite was the money challenge. I'm definitely gonna find my budget friend 💵🤗
Literally I go shopping now and double check everything. I usually end up putting it all back. Thank you so much!!!

Yessssss! The blue sponges that you recommend are the best!! Got them from Amazon and I wash them with my dish towels every week. Lasts forever.
Thanks for the first tip "Pay your bills first" . Always they say we should pay ourselves first but to me my bill is the first I pay.

When you online shop so much you remember all your card details :l
tina sowton I know my debit card number, expiry date and security code all off by heart too 😂
