Okay!! Listen we only live once. I say do whatever brings you joy!! I was up late Sunday night using all of our towels and blankets to get water up off the kitchen floor. Our dishwasher flooded. My kitchen cabinet are still drying out. I'm just trying to keep smiling
Hi Helen! I hop on EVERY day to see what you're up to. I am guilty of forgetting to "like" the videos. I will do better starting today! In April I moved in with my sister due to her health crisis. She and her husband asked if I could help out. I was happy to oblige. Now.....I am feeling a little down because I can't do my usual holiday decorating. You were my inspiration for adding trees to the bedrooms. It was a game changer for my adult autistic son. His face lit up every time I would drag out the red bins. The second year he even developed the habit of turning in his tree when we got home each evening. So....do not grow weary in well doing. Many of us rely on you for our daily pick me up. I enjoyed your Vlogtober personally. Keep being uniquely you.

Since I started watching you about 5 years ago, I went from 2 trees to 5. Last year, I didn't get them all up, but I started last week. I made it eaay with no breakable ornaments and stored all of the items for the latest design in a king comforter bag. The goal this year is to get rid of the excess and neatly store 6 themes.

Helen hey girl hey. I am loving the ideas you're giving us. I can understand you when you say you want to get out and live in the moment of of Christmas and make some new memories,. Christmas is starting to have a different meaning for you and yes it happens as we get older. All your babies are almost out of the nest and the holidays will be sweeter. I’ve been buying some things to add to my winter wonderland decor. I have four white twig trees. It’s just me at home now so I’m doing all things acrylic and crystal with pops of soft greens and a little blue. The yea for me of nutcrackers, reindeer and trees.

I know I don’t need anything, but just bought a light up black nutcracker from Home Depot and some nutcracker sheets from Amazon. Probably will start decorating in a few weeks, I’m having a burst watching you doing your study, bedroom, etc

My tree goes up after Thanksgiving, but I do not put the ornaments on it. My husband and daughters decorate the tree. My girls are not allowed to take the ornaments off the tree, yes 3/4 are grown. 😊Thanks
My tree is now reduced to a cute little table top. Goes up anytime the spirit and energy hits me after Thanksgiving. It has traditional colors which I've fallen in love with again, I'm 73 so the kid in me wants nostalgia 😜
