awareness and education is so important for change to happen or at least to be considered. Amazing, honest and very insightful interview we should have more often for women to hear, especially women of other ethnicities. Women need to hear strong women and young girls need these women to look up to. I am going to share this with some young girls that i know they will learn so much from this interview. Thank you for sharing
Thank you for making us feel seen and our experiences validated. As a young professional in the UAE I feel we face these challenges more often than not. Being asked if you should be here in a room where you are not expected to be. Having other black people telling you that you cant enter because this place or event is for this certain employer or groups of people and assuming you are not one of them. Hoping we see more representation of black professionals in different places and spaces.
I LOVE this Sharon. So happy to see you are doing this! These conversations are so important and like you said in Dubai conversations are often very surface level so its so nice to have this space where people are sharing on REAL life stuff.. Welldone!
Thank you, these conversations are needed. Madeleine is inspiring. It is possible to be proud of our culture, authentic and successful. It's not easy, but it is possible.
So inspiring!

Thank you for the encouragement 🙏🏾 People are doing real life in Dubai (not everyday brunch) unless you are cooking 😊
Well Spoken ❤
Amazing journey 🎉.
Thank you for this conversation. And Madeleine is amazing!
This was such a necessary conversation and I'm glad more people get to experience Ms. Mendy as she continues to occupy all the spaces!!!
I am so grateful for this conversation. Very inspiring! It is possible, may not be easy, but it is possible 🙏🏾
Great channel and great episode. As a black professional female in Dubai, this hit home. All the best with this podcast. It’s so real and so needed.
