So I was wondering if u can possibly a video about like fixing the body to work with clothes, I bought your yasmine shape and for legacy body and sometimes the clothes don’t fix even when I fix it with edit lmao
It's complicated because in first place much of the stuff which you add to be your avatar was never thought to be used like that. And Linden never changed the system... they really never reworked it to become less complicated or more customer friendly. Since 2003 hardly anything changed.
I think part of the complicated part is people focus too much on how the avi looks too fast. In videos people put an avi together complete in an hour or so... In real life... It takes weeks... months... to find what u like, learn the system, decide what you want.
There are videos on free heads like Genus, Dream and Logo right now. All those heads are free. And several people have talked about using the free Ebody curvy and free Legacy TMP classic body. Both bodies have pluses and minues. hugs

They got the great classic body for free from the legacy creators. But dont forget the sweet ruth bodies for male and female on marketplace( female fits maitreya items but there is an alpha hud to fix parts like all other expensive mesh bodies) . I believe they are either 1 linden or 10 lindens. Also until the 7th there is the bento mesh male head and female head from Logo.

the mesh body isn't working for me even though I joined the group it gives me the gift but when I try to unpack it just creays a folder nothing happens. is there another body I can buy ?
Wish i saw this sooner, but oh well haha i already spent £300 on lindens. I more so want to join for the creative aspect of Second Life. I plan on making animations, textures, meshes so hopefully I'll have enough to get that started. I work as a 3D animator so hopefully my skill set will come in handy. ❤️❤️❤️

Hey girl... Go to the search box and put in 'London sandbox' or go to 'Free Dove.' Free Dove has many dressing rooms and lots of free clothes and shoes.
for mangula they dont have anything that fits the classic body mesh i have tried so hard to find places for the classic body mesh and not one store has anything its all matreya
Search the marketplace for tmp body clothing there will be some gifts for the body! As well as for mangula you can hide body parts on the hud for the clothing to fit right most of the times you can pull it off

You may have to rez them out on the ground and right click and open and copy to inventory. So you'll have to be at a rezzing spot so go to a place called Snow rez zone and it should allow you to do it
Hiiii ,i just made this avi just now and when i add clothes the head comes off and the eyes and eyelashes how do i add clothes without it coming off please help ?
The genus head comes with a neck fix but you can use the legacy neck fix that comes with the body all you do is on the body hud on the styles circle there's a neck icon you click that and try to match the color with your skin
The groups you are suggesting cost more to join than the avatar of 20L$ by far and many of the places no longer offer freebies that I could find. After 2 years things change.

Awh hmm the only thing I can think of with that is you've capped the items you can have on, but try contacting the creator with a note card or IM and see if they can help💛

Yeah it’s for Halloween event at the moment, all you do is tp to maps.secondlife.com/PUNKLIST/24/119/143 and the mainstore tp will be directly behind you and you can look in punklists store for the hair
Okay I know I’m late but I tried this out and for some reason the omega thing isn’t working for me for the head. I’ve been having trouble with it and I’m stressing myself out. 😭 Okay so UPDATE: I found the problem and I’m good now lmao I was stressed for nothing! 😭
Omega allows you to have more layers love. If you add on makeup or a skin that is omega compatible it'll go on the head. I'm not the creator so I can't help with everything. This is why I stress about talking to the creator about it.
@@LexiDeanna okay because I followed everything that you did and I even clicked on the HUD for the head and the icon didn’t pop up at all and I getting frustrated because it wasn’t working for me. I also used firestorm but I think it’s not working because of the lands or something but idk. But everything else works tho!
I added the head. Some parts of the face is still white. Why? And why when I open the legacy hud when I go to the second option (style) it's empty, no choice for me to see a slider and apply BOM

Im not sure what I did, but now my genus head wont work, its literally purple and if i try to put the mesh body on there it doesnt work, this is very frustrating rn, help.
Click on genetics and then go to the color layer part on the right and click skin and then you'll need to click on the right side of the color bar and as far as the mesh body make sure you've unpacked it first if you did that then you'll need to contact the shops owner because I'm not the creator of it
Just updated the LM in the description, But make sure in prefrences on the General tab your content is set to general, moderate and adult so you can get in! Other than that, I do recommend Luxrebel :)
I want more sl videos! smile... I love watching other peoples take on second life... And... About the lindens... I totally agree its irritating when people ask for lindens all the time. Even though I do understand not wanting to spend money on sl when ur not sure about it. But... I do feel... As time goes on... Spending money on land, clothes, etc helps support the sl platform. So... If you love sl spending money on it is a good thing.
Right now I use Venus belleza body but I want to get a thicker body. Like I use to have the sking brazillia body. The moment I log in today. Imma try to follow these steps. If you have any recommendations within a budget. Please let me know
That could've been something for a head but if you go to Inithium they have two bodies that are 4k thats the only bodies I know that can get you a thicker look

Make sure in your preferences under the general tab I think it's the second one on that first page it's a tab that says general make sure you put it on general,moderate, and adult
This was so helpful but I have a question, when I click the eyebrows for Genus head it appears white and why are my avatar's eyes squinched up, do I need an eye shape or something?
On the hud to the right click tattoo then there's a color bar you want to click to the right of it. And yes you'll need a shape I suggest using the default shape that comes with the head or buying one of mine💛🌸 marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/232131

That's just how the legacy body is. You'll need to fix the alphas on the body hud. And always make sure you're putting on Tmp or legacy clothing

What type of computer you have that can run second life?
I have a gaming pc. It all depends on your graphics card. Sometimes sl can run on a regular laptop but it will lag a lot

You may have to rez them out on the ground and right click and open and copy to inventory. So you'll have to be at a rezzing spot so go to a place called Snow rez zone and it should allow you to do it

how to fix the neck if you have a legacy body? genus doesn’t have a neck fix for it
The genus head comes with a neck fix but you can use the legacy neck fix that comes with the body all you do is on the body hud on the styles circle there's a neck icon you click that and try to match the color with your skin

Their hairbases need omega I'm pretty sure so you can just search up genus omega and it'll be the first one that pops up called Genus omega kit💛

Okay so UPDATE: I found the problem and I’m good now lmao I was stressed for nothing! 😭
Omega allows you to have more layers love. If you add on makeup or a skin that is omega compatible it'll go on the head. I'm not the creator so I can't help with everything. This is why I stress about talking to the creator about it.

I also used firestorm but I think it’s not working because of the lands or something but idk. But everything else works tho!
I added the head. Some parts of the face is still white. Why? And why when I open the legacy hud when I go to the second option (style) it's empty, no choice for me to see a slider and apply BOM

Im not sure what I did, but now my genus head wont work, its literally purple and if i try to put the mesh body on there it doesnt work, this is very frustrating rn, help.
Click on genetics and then go to the color layer part on the right and click skin and then you'll need to click on the right side of the color bar and as far as the mesh body make sure you've unpacked it first if you did that then you'll need to contact the shops owner because I'm not the creator of it

If it needs unpacking make sure you're adding it and it pops up on your screen

I want more sl videos! smile... I love watching other peoples take on second life... And... About the lindens... I totally agree its irritating when people ask for lindens all the time. Even though I do understand not wanting to spend money on sl when ur not sure about it. But... I do feel... As time goes on... Spending money on land, clothes, etc helps support the sl platform. So... If you love sl spending money on it is a good thing.

for some reason everytime i try to teleport to the shop for the head, it says it failed .

They only way you can get a really thicker body is with the kupra and that's 4k as of now bb

This was so helpful but I have a question, when I click the eyebrows for Genus head it appears white and why are my avatar's eyes squinched up, do I need an eye shape or something?
On the hud to the right click tattoo then there's a color bar you want to click to the right of it. And yes you'll need a shape I suggest using the default shape that comes with the head or buying one of mine💛🌸 marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/232131
