Wonderful program. There are situations when it crashes (my machine is not the most powerful or stable, but I am learning what it will and will not do. Considering what this program can do, it is a minor inconvenience. Meshlab does what I need it to do and, whenever I delve into the features, I find there are suddenly more things I 'need' to do. Thank you for making this program, and making it available.

The ALT selection should be the default, and the with ALT should select including the invisible. It's backwards for the most common usage. People will want to select only the visible 100 times for every once they want to include the invisible. This should be obvious when doing any surface modeling corrections on any model, such as the one shown.

just re-click on "select face in a rectangle region" icon ..and then select outside the object... MeshLab so far doesn;t have ctrl + Z option... as far as i know ... but u also can use Shift to de-select.. u will see "negative sign" icon appear
