- It's a quiet day and I get a phone call from a couple looking after their 100 YEAR OLD father's estate. There's mention of numerous antiques and assorted vintage collectables. Sounds like they're anxious to get started so I jump in the car and head over to the place.

Thanks for the lesson in being diplomatic/kind, of course these folks spent more money on gas going to drop off donations to goodwill, yesterday I would have walked right the door out upon hearing they had given away probably all the value that was initially there, I suppose I'm getting cranky/rusty in my older age, so thanks again for the lesson in patience Marty, but more so for your younger audience who are just starting out, setting boundaries is so important and you sir just taught your audience how that's done in spades and in a very nice way, great video, thanks.

I used one of the 8-track to cassette adaptors a lot as a kid. My parents had a large magnavox stereo (big console type) and got one when cassettes started getting more popular than 8 tracks. Fun to see one again. And i can only imagine what went to Goodwill...😮

25 Loads To Goodwill : A friggin' HORROR SHOW to us pickers ! Here's what scares me personally: MOST people see ZERO value in EPHEMERA and SMALLS (key chains, Cracker Jacks prizes, etc.) . Here : 4:54 I sell these Swag lamp chains - I get $24.00 if they are a good long length! I'm the kind of seller that AVIODS the obvious. I can get to a sale when it's the end of the day -- and come out with a nice pile. I LOVE when sales have lousy Vinyl records , off conditions TOY and GAMES ! Total distraction to OTHERS !!
