Funny how Burgis and this woman both have to write off Curtis entire side by calling history "irrelevant" when he literally explains to them both from primary sources that their entire foundation of belief is built on pseudohistory. They're like "I know that but it's irrelevant" 😂

Yes, more Yarvin.
I like Batya!
@@AllenDobkin well…your getting Yarvin! Hope you like it!
I too look forward to listening to 1:34:25 of Curtis Yarvin.
Interestingly, people who predicted that gay rights would lead to complete sexual and gender anarchy were actually right. In fact I think even they would be surprised at public school system arguing they have the right to transition your kid to the opposite sex - and without even telling you. And in many/most cases, law makers would agree.
That’s a racist thing to say, buddy. I know lots of people who are gayer than me, and they’re just as smart as white people. Your post makes you look like you’re an awesome denier.

The cathedral turned Yarvin 's mike off
Part way through when Batya is talking about declining respect of the media, she confirms the accuracy of the cathedral theory. She bemoans that the media was not able to fully stop the Florida parental rights bill.
Also, if I could attempt to answer the implied question she was posing which seems to go along the lines of, "why can't we completely control the American public like we used to?", it's because the media has degenerated.
They aren't as skilled as their predecessors. They got too brazen and too confident without the talent to back it up. They pushed too hard and revealed their true nature to even the most luke-warm, apolitical, aphilosophical, fence-riding normies. They've shown us all that their main purpose is, to quote their friends in the CIA, to "lie, cheat and steal."
Would be interested in someone heavily editing / ghost writing a Curtis Yarvin's Power Elite's History of the United States as a conscious mirror to Zinn (but without the falsehoods); would be pretty fun as well as enlightening & would doubtless have a priceless bibliography.
Maybe a side by side like those bibles. Orthodox history in one column, Zinn's take in one, yarvins in another
This would be legendary

Oh I didn't mean it as a GenX thing. I'm GenX. Everyone's parents fuck up. And when you're young you sometimes think they're evil. But then you grow up and as an adult realize adults don't know WTF they're doing half the time.
I would have figured Thaddeus for the sort who never reached this point in development but it was interesting to hear him just say it.

and dub dub 2 was not fought to save the tribe, that was simply not a real consideration.
also- it was mark twain who said 'history rhymes', not that awful filthy villain of history...
I think European Jewry was very amenable to 19th and 20th-century progressivism, but examining history for “the Jewish Question” kind of becomes useless past the mid-1800s. For example, the roots of modern communism are extremely clear in the Radical Republicans in the pre Civil War era in which there was no Jewish involvement. Ditto with the French Revolution and Cromwell’s England.
@@mysteryman6918 yep, the chosenites didnt invent communism, it preceded marx of course, the bloody frenchies deserve a LOT of the blame, im not overly knowledgeable re that whole cromwell revolution era in britain, sorry.
The communists who moved to Israel got to play out their communist fantasies on the kibbutzim. In Israel, this is universally acknowledged as having been a complete disaster, ruining children’s lives and descending into abject failure. Now they are more like gated communities. So communism today among the Jewish community is really more of a US phenomenon. Many of these Jews are anti-Israel. It is useful in that it is a kill seed for Christianity. It turns Christianity into the most virulent form of itself, one that eventually kills its host. So it is very much still a useful political program in the US. Most of these adherents, however, like Burgess, are true believers and useful idiots.
@@zwatwashdc good points.
I think communism just vibed with them because of their cosmopolitan and humanistic culture, plus maybe a bit of nietzsche's "ressontiment" at not being super alpha. I don't think there is any conspiracy
The female comes across as extremely emotional, every argument she puts forth has an inflection of taking personal offense at the ideas Curtis asserts. She seems incapable of an objective detached opinion.
the left that was never was
1:12:30 This isn't who the Right is. The Right thinks that being a part of a religious community that requires families and individuals to adhere to standards is the healthiest thing for a community, and that any community which believes in their country and themselves can fix these problems. While that might seem like an oversimplification, it is, at the bear minimum, the correct orientation in the world in which to affect positive change.
59:40 The reality is, when a community does not 'stop and frisk' their own kids to make sure they're not on their way to commit murder or do something else, then the state might intervene in a tyrannical way to do it for them. It's not a mystery that the black community, through racist disastrous policies and a deep inequity rooted in slavery, has bad family situations to a disproportionate degree.
I like Batya. Hard to find much info about her. Can somebody post a link?
She has tons of content on The Hill Rising show
@@tacokarl739 Thank you. Hard to find a bio.
I like some of her stuff on Rising, but she definitely has some serious astroturf vibes, like she's being propped up in the alt media. She just showed up out of nowhere some time in the last 2 years or so, mainly appearing on the Hill. I can't find much on her educational or journalistic background. She just cropped up suddenly, landed a job at a major news outlet, and immediately started interviewing IDW and "classical liberal" types while being heavily promoted by these same inividuals, as well as the RUclips algorithm.
@@n.trushaev5132 Thanks. I just looked up astroturfing. So you think she is planting positive comments about herself?
@@dansbike1 No, I don't think she's planting positive comments about herself. What I mean is that I think she's been propped up in media despite not having much of a prior name for herself or a lot of credentials.

Ben is having fun dunking on Yarvin on his show
What's he sayin about my boy?
The black family did better pre-Civil Rights (1965) than after (per Thomas Sowell). Also, Thomas Sowell has argued that segregated schools were ok for blacks (Sowell is a black intellectual). Of course we should not have racist laws, but I think that objectively, the effect of the post-1965 Civil Rights movement did not help blacks, especially famlies. But that has more to do with the welfare state than with MLK Jr.
its not at all acceptable to be left wing anymore, its not ok at all.
there is no version of it that isnt total bollocks,
Yes keep trying to talk away all the mistakes that have been made…….. I can’t believe we let these people do this bullshit
I am consistently disappointed in videos with Curtis Yarvin because I really want to hear his ideas and occasionally he manages to put together a coherent string of sentences, but normally you have to translate what he says into English because of how he seems unable to form his sentences in his mind first before speaking them. Instead, you have to listen to him use 20 vocal fillers for every 1 word of substance as he fills dead air while he's organizing his thoughts. It drives me nuts. He really could stand to take some cues from Jordan Peterson, who has similarly dense thoughts, but who uses his brain first before opening his mouth most of the time and when he doesn't, he at least stays silent while thinking through his words instead of saying "and and and and and" Given that he's been a public figure for years and years I would think Yarvin would improve his speaking skills at some point but he never really has.
I want to be able to take Yarvin seriously... However every debate or discussion he engages in seems to take what could be the simplest topics for debate and conflate them into some grandiose metaphysical speculative diatribe. The rapid subject switching, supposition, and lack of overall focus on a solid stand-point is the equivalent of nailing snot to a board. He takes no actual stance on any one subject, and as trying to be an analyst of what has happened and what is happening tries to remove himself from it. That being the case, I can't take him seriously on anything he debates.
I think his perspective is pretty clear. Read primary sources and understand how the present relates to the past in a very deep and nuanced way. He has more to say but nobody seems to be able to get past this first level, so he has to continue to repeat himself. He switches subjects because he is pulling on a thousand different examples to try to get these people to comprehend his point.
You could've just said you think he talks too much
He's just not a good debater, very few people are, and he's probably got work to do as a speaker.
But the guy wanders in to some pretty compelling ideas so I appreciate his style.
It is a LA thing honestly lol. What specifically do you object to in this "debate" which is more of a conversation. Yarvin seems to approach the conversation from a less "modern" perspective.
When Yarvin starts talking it’s like he’s already in the middle of the conversation.
