Here is what I think cami and klaus were definitely soulmates they loved each other and she helped him grow so much from what we saw in tvd but klaus would always have Caroline as his one true love. In his heart it was right person wrong time you can have many soulmates in life and cami was one but she wasn’t his true love
You know caroline wore her ring for more than 10 years after stefan died and the first thing klaus talked to caroline was cami. 15 years after, with his "soulmate" and he talks about an other woman?
