i think your art is lovely and i'm glad (or i hope?) that you feel much better about drawing now! i absolutely understand how you feel as i recently began to learn how to draw and paint and it is an absolutely difficult process with many techniques used, only to be compared to some image generating software.. but i think what is most important in an artwork is the meaning that the artwork wants to convey, and i know that no software can create such meaning in those generated images i hope you are able to enjoy practising making art and i think progress is a good thing to be proud about as well! 😊
Thank you Zenyth! It was really difficult to draw back when I was comparing myself to other artists' work and yes, you're right! Especially since I just started doing digital art recently (a few years ago), so there are so many things to learn, especially each software's specific tools TT I am trying, slowly but surely, to enjoy the process of just practising art :D It's been fun drawing mediocre-ly. I am cringe but I am free
I love it! :) And you're so right about doing things for the right reason. I've been very down on myself as an artist because I could never achieve the level of skill I wanted even after several years of trying. But something you made yourself is truly special and unique. I'll try to keep that in mind. Besides, I think your skills really are good. You can draw a character you want in a pose you want. That's worth celebrating too :)
Thank you!! I was down on myself too for a long time because I never felt as if the final drawing was as good as I imagined it but recently I've been trying to enjoy the process of drawing more, baby steps hehe
