The problem is that I can't save energy. I still haven't event gotten a full team up to lv 100 yet. At the same time I'm trying to get better gear so I can get further in the game. I'm stuck at stage 4 on all the gear lvs, Goblin 3 stage 1, and Vortex stage 2 and nothing I'm doing is actually getting me any further.
If it makes you feel better bro, I've got 30 lvl 5 characters... Only a couple are lvl 100.
Getting heros to 100 early is a waste of pots. Go to 95, get a few to lvl 98 but don't sweat about 100

not related to this but as a new player how long should I keep the starting generic character around? I don't see any endgame comps using him/her but I am currently lvl 70 and he's one of the strongest options I have, especially since u get all those scrolls early. Still have 3 days of the free hero reset so is it worth keeping him around or should I reset his lvls before its to late?
I have been playing the game and trying to do it 100% F2P, As such, I have not had very much Stamina to begin with. I have been being conservative, and only trying to burn the bare minimum each day - but also trying really hard to level up enough get to lvl 9 in Venom and have a roster of several 90+ heroes - which I have done. I have 4 or so at 100 and another 5 or 6 above 90 and another 10 at 90 or so. Needless to say, I don't have much Stamina saved - maybe 5 breads if I am lucky. i have been burning Wyrmarrow on the daily discount buying the 60 stamina. It has been a log uphill trudge fest to get this far with so little stamina. Sadly, I still can't quite do lvl 9 venom
Tempering sand is the experience material for champions.. the 200exp after a run they get, so it's sort of irrelevant
I use my stamina and usually buy more, I’m here to play the game and I’d rather play! I don’t mind spending a bit to support the game so if I have to buy dice or scrolls or stamina when the time comes I will.

I save some energy, but no more than 4 big breads. I want to enjoy the game instead of waiting and rush everything in the end. Leaderboard ranking gets easier since every day people quit playing unfortunately...
To answer your question about the stamina, I purchase the monthly pack that gets me the free 30 auto attacks each day. So I use just enough stamina that day to get in my 30 auto attacks - whether that be 30 Goblin runs, 30 gear runs, etc. I typically don't do more than that each day. This allows me not to waste those tickets (since they expire at the end of the day) but also not burn all my stamina in one sitting. If I did that, that wouldn't allow me to fully use those tickets the next day. Plus, spreading it out like that gives me more time to earn more stamina through the Walker's Trails, thus resulting in me always having SOME stamina packs on-hand when needed, while at the same time I'm not sitting on a ton of them, stalling my progress.
I only need to get some legendarys to farm lv9 venom.....for the 2x drop...thats for whales. Normal player can't clear stage 9 so why save up stamina ?

I spent loads on this game. Today i had 40 heliolite and decided to go for it! My party is not the best. So i expected something good. I got a complete load of crap! One ledge and the rest a total waste of time! Thats it now, im spending no more on this game! The game designers are taking the piss!
Please don’t use the present perfect if you refer to a specific point in the past.
