Real beauty
These were not only the " engineer's cars ", but a handsome design, too! Thanks for commenting, Arthur.
Love the Newport!!!!!
One, big, cruiser!!!!!
Nice Chrysler Newport. I would put thinner white walls on it, more period correct than the 50's style wide white walls. Nice riding car on trips to grandma's at the holidays!
Briefman and I share your thoughts on the whitewalls. Chrysler were good road machines in their days. Now, let's go get some hot cider!!!
Hi Pamela,,wowww,9250,, bargain city that is one sweet ride,,,date mobile,, for sure, drive in movie in super comfort,,by the way I enjoyed this show with a tasty cup o coffee ☕,, seriously nice car I would love to have it,,, good show as always and as always I'm Glen
That would be a great datemobile...only if the date ees are wearing cheap sunglasses!!! Glad you enjoyed this Newport. All of the acreage of metal without a wrinkle!!! I'm glad you enjoyed the ol' girl and a cuppa! Cheers!!☕
It's such a thrill seeing non-rust bucket cars of this age selling for so cheap. You just don't see old classics with clean bodies and undercarriages in Ontario Canada, rust bucket central. I didn't hear them call out engine specs, Pam, is it a 413 c.i.? I know the push button trans is a given, but, regardless a great deal at 9250 with a straight body like that, black with white interior - nice. The wide whitewalls would have to go pronto! But still, very cool. Thanks Pam.
What was weird was this Newport was added to the sale. No listing in the online catalog. This was truly a straight car. I did not see any rust, but I was not under the Chrysler. Briefman, Dave, and I agree on the whitewalls.
Pam,. The '63 and '64 Chryslers get a lot of flak about their styling, but I always liked them. Of course, I also like the 1960 Valiant! The authentic Chrysler wires from Motor Wheel are classy as they come. 86 the wide whites, though!
Join the " No Club " on those wide whites!!! Bruce, Dave and Glen also do not like them!
The '60 Valiant was so funky!!! These big Chryslers made a statement without the excess of the late '50s.
64 was a good looking year for Chrysler, but would prefer narrower whitewalls
Quite understandable.
I like the 62 Newport but I'll settle for a 64
🇺🇸👍
Thank you Murat!!!
I sell a running one cheaper than that
Bring it to the Fall Carlisle auction!!
I m going to waste my time going to a sell I'll ride it till someone gives me 5,500 for it
I don't blame you, Deep!!! Great ride!!!!!!!!!!!!
