I had no idea. Really. Personally I'd aspire to have one after owning a Civic hatchback/coupe/sedan. These cars arguably had the best styling of any coupe in the 90's. Still looks fresh to me till this day.
Until you get one that wasn’t taken care of and everything little thing that can go wrong does, after about a month or two of fixing it you’ll love it even more
We want the older gens to come ! 4th 3rd 2nd and 1st. There are just more 5th gens because there are more out in the market and also becasue a lot of people actually do love the 5th gen body 🙏
@@bb6.v Man, my first car was a silver 93 5speed base model. Traded it in to buy an 01 s2000 back in 2007 (still have it). Recently find myself wanting back in a 4th gen. Call it borderline midlife crisis, I want to build one and daily drive it. Honestly see 5th gen preludes about as rarely as I do an S2000 these days. Other gens are like seeing an NSX. Maybe once a year? It would be awesome to see a meetup like this. And yeah, a little better turnout with the other gens would be nice too

Sad to only see a few fourth gens there. Definitely my favourite of them all. I have a 93 vtec in Brittany blue green and just love the angles of the body lines.

When I wanted a 2001 Prelude, but they were $27,000 new. I couldn't afford one at the time - I had a 94 Si and man o man, was that car fun. Now it's 2023- I still want one but i am leery about a 23-22 year old car. Some sell for $20,000 with 76k miles. Some for $8,000 with 145k miles. Either way, it's a Prelude. Either way- it's a Honda- and those two reasons is why I still am thinking about getting one..
yes agree they were fairly 27k or more with the add on options. That’s sweet how you had a 94 si! always loved the 4th gens. you should get one! And still can get one! like you said some are 20k and some are 8k with not that much mileage. Some are also 5k and under but as long as it’s good mileage or we’ll taken care of and even if it is high mileage you should be fine! Like you said it’s a prelude the fact it’s getting older just makes it more awesome for me. like you said it’s a Honda and not just any a prelude!
Maybe someone on here would know how I could find out when the last lude ever built was by VIN. Mine was built in October of 2001 which would be close to one of the last ones I’m thinking. It wasn’t sold off the lot here in British Columbia until late 2002. I still have it and it’s in damn near new condition as I don’t drive it much. It’s a black, 5 speed with leather interior😎
You just have to see if their is a prelude club near you or kind of close to where you live if not then start one and slowly you can do meets. There’s prelude meets in LA & San Diego & Texas I know there’s other places as well just look up Honda prelude meet 👌
