  • I've not found this anywhere on RUclips and it really needs to be seen. A long, detailed interview with Anne-Marie West conducted at the time of Rose West's conviction and when 25 Cromwell Street was still standing. It is harrowing viewing. She is absolutely a survivor. Converted from one of my old VHS tapes.

    It’s heart wrenching listening to Anne Marie call herself gutless & guilty. You beautifully strong survivor, you are NOT gutless or guilty. You protected your little siblings for years, you came so close to death that you could’ve touched it and yet you still stood your ground and defended your little siblings. You are an incredible woman, mother & soul and you are the single guardian angel that your siblings had before their tragic passing. None of this is your fault, none of the guilt is yours to carry and I hope wherever you’re living now that you’re living happily and peacefully ❤

      She’s not reading this and also trauma and sexual abuse is complex. Are you gonna tell a male pedophile who was himself abused that being a pedophile is okay? She was abused, she’s attracted to incest and young kids. You don’t know more about her than her. She knows what she has done and why she did it

      @@ja6975 when did she say she was attracted to incest and young kids.
      Think you need to learn to listen 😂
      Anne Marie has never been accused of incest or abuse. So I think you need to get your facts straight aswell. She's not a pedophile.
      She feels guilty because she didn't protect her siblings. And that she still loved her dad despite what he done to her. That's what she says in the video.
      She actually testified against Rose and her uncle John West who were both child abusers.
      Making up baseless accusations is sick. So unless you have proof of what you are saying. Jog on.

    • @foolishlyfoolhardy6004
      @foolishlyfoolhardy6004 18 дней назад

      @@ja6975 no one is talking about Rose.
      We're talking about Anne-Marie, who was r*ped repeated by her own father and step-mother from the age of 8, and forced into prostit*tion by them when she was still a child.
      That is not anywhere even remotely of her own doing. She is not "attracted to inc*st" and has never been accused nor shown inclination towards "young kids." She was the victim of inc*st, and she was the young kid who adults pr*yed upon.
      She is not, and never has been a perpetrator of either of those things.

      Yup... Compartmentalize and lock it away. And then something happens, usually the death of the abuser, you sigh in relief, you let your guard down, and suddenly that compartment unlocks like a pandoras box... Then starts the ptsd, the self doubt, the what ifs, the depression and self pity, the guilt, and total confusion... You want to escape and run away.... And you wonder, how could you have held all that together and function and just do what you had to do untill that day, but now are just falling apart at the seams. This is my experience, and when i watch these kind of interviews of people who have gone trough horrendous abuse, and this girl went trough the worst, i wonder, do they feel the same way i do? And if they are able to function, how?

    The beautiful thing about this woman is her conscious understanding that people should have empathy and a conscience about things that are wicked (eg: no questioning how a 15 year old girl is pregnant; the lack of compassion from the hospital staff; people shunning her; the constable informing her over the phone about her sister's death?).
