How must it be to have your name already be a semi-official training drill. Granted John modified it with the "cap the homewrecker" move, but I think Warrior Poets understand.
My wife also carries, and stacks shots at 25 yards. If I tried to push her out of the way it might turn into a shoving match for who gets to shoot the baddie. It might be best for both of our sakes to give her the best reachable cover and I dive for another position if needed, both for distraction and for more angles on target
My children grew up like wild indians on our horse ranch and now I can't remember what they did, but both me and my wife took off at a run to do some ass chewing or spanking. We were acually shoving/elbowing each other trying to get there first. Was just kinda instinct I guess. Good lord we laughed at ourselves. (The kids still got a whippin tho)....lol
My wife thinks you both are hilarious, and I love the fact that you guys are having fun and not so serious. I hope the woman/womannequin you saved appreciates what you did for her.

Eli’s lawyer said yes it was 40yards. But only the first shots. He also said everyone is going to have to change the drill up to run it accurately. Still under investigation but will be much more to the story once able to share.
It be nice to know....either way he knew how to use whatever tools he had on him. I will be shocked if he didn't at least practice with his carry gun frequently.
I have exactly one gun with an optic that I carry with regularity. Glock M29 10mm mounting the Leupold Micro. It replaces the rear sight and still if it fails you can use the front sight. Otherwise it’s ONLY irons for this old man, aging eyes and all. I do mount a CT laser (green) on most of my other carry pieces. As an instructor these many decades, I do understand and sort of applaud the trend to optics, but the infantry officer in me says “don’t be dependent on them, don’t start out using them.” Master the irons and always keep that mastery. I was the XO of my Infantry Division Pistol Team, long before optics or laser’s. We had the best of everything: Olympic level weapons, ammunition and instructors. We were using Colt Gold Cup 1911’s in .45ACP. Irons will never fail you in a crisis.
I about died laughing when I saw him change his angle on the “girlfriend”. Ps Super smooth reload. I think you were a little surprised by that but the fact that you did it so smooth…nice
