Even the Granny's play games. I am noticed lately after the game companies are trying to discontinued the physical Media everyone are coming back with nostalgia.
15:52 I think the Game Boy is a very accessible retro series of systems which makes it have cross-generational appeal. One of the biggest factors is that very few games are super expensive, though the expensive games are really good. I can't say that for all NES or SNES games. On the other hand, the Sega Genesis doesn't have any expensive stinkers, off the top of my head. I have tons of recommendations for GBx.
You're absolutely right. I've been looking into some games that I've wanting to add to my collection. Definitely looking for boxed games but I'm not opposed to just getting carts. I'll also have to look into Genesis games. I didn't know that it was relatively cheap to collect for.
@@StephsTooDef Boxed Game Boy can be very expensive, especially original Game Boy. I think the cheapest boxed are GBC overall. Again, there will be expensive ones. GBA and GBC boxed games also pop up more frequently than original Game Boy.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that wanted to start collecting Gameboy games again after getting the Analogue Pocket. My recent purchases were the 4 original Generation 1 Pokémon games that released in Japan and MAN the boxes are so pretty. I have them in sleeves and I really want to find a place to display them.
Nice!!! That is so awesome to hear. The Analogue Pocket has definitely made me play way more GBA games this year! I'm looking into getting the adaptor to play Game Gear games.
I would cry happy tears if I found my old game boy advanced games. Pretty sure they got lost in a move years ago, or donated. I still have a few DS games that I had when they were released, like Pokemon Diamond and Mario 64 DS. Diamond doesn't work anymore, though haha
Ibeen playing ps2 ps1 games on my console I recently bought 3 games from my childhood wild Thornberrys animal adventure Casper 3d challenge WWF mayhem I remember playing these as a kid I’m happy I got to play them again
T2, ahahah was not too shabby. It did play super well. FZero and Contra were ultra dope !!! FF6... Fire Amblem ... WARIO !!! Great find, this is a box of pure fun. Enjoy your retro time, it will be golden ! BTW, how is the experience on the Analogue Pocket ?
Hey Steph, It's been a Loooooonnnnnngggg time. I'm not sure if you'd even remember me but back in the day I was doing game collection videos under the name Locke Downe. RUclips was actually nice enough to recommend me your video and I was super pumped to see you making videos! Hope you're doing well :)
ONG!!! Totally remember you! Glad to hear that RUclips is doing its job and recommending the channel. lol. This is awesome. Heading over to your channel to subscribe!
@@StephsTooDef It was really good to see you again! Thanks so much for the sub. I don't post as much as I should these days, but super happy to see how awesome your channel still is! :)
I was digging around in a junk drawer earlier in the year and found my Gameboy Color, a few Gameboy cartridges and a couple of Gameboy Advance cartridges. Instantly had regret. I gave my GBA away to my niece, didn’t know I still had the GBC but I gave away or traded in most of my gameboy collection. What was sitting in that drawer was stuff I overlooked, not really the greatest hits, but it made me wish I still had my collection. I also found about 5 SNES games, Castlevania for the N64 and a N64 rumble pack in the same drawer. Ended up pawning my N64 when I was a broke college kid with bills that needed to get paid.
Thanks so much. I'm happy that I found these boxed games hanging out in the closet. Finally put them on the shelf with the other boxed GBA games that are in my collection.
Awesome finds! And its great to visit your channel again! I was still subscribed to your channel, but I haven't visited in about 4 years! I am soo glad you survived the "Exodus of RUclipsrs" who ended their channel due to RUclips bottle-necking the fun in making videos..a shame indeed. But great content again Miss Steph! God Bless! As for seeing terminator 2 for gameboy, I had a resurgence of memories as well.....crappy memories. I think most Terminator 2 games, between the SNES and the Genesis/Mega-Drive, and the gameboy especially, had the playable character, literally, have ONE LIFE TO LIVE, then game....completely.....over, sucker...better luck next time.....I did love F-Zero GP Legend, and "Maximum Velocity" (I think was the first GBA F-Zero) and only merely liked GP Climax, the Japanese-only F-Zero GBA game, since it messed with the driving mechanics, errr some change had occurred since F-Zero GP Legend that I really didn't like. GP legend IS fun at high difficulties, yet severely repetitive for how basic the graphics have to be.
Wow…that’s crazy. RUclips is definitely a different place compared to back to back in the day. Thanks for coming across the channel after so many years. I never played Climax but I should give it a go since they put it out on Switch Online. To be honest though, I haven’t heard the best things about it.
Wow! Those are some good games! curious to hear what you think of the Fire Emblem game. I havent played it. Id like to. Definitely a F.E fan and trying tog o backwards and play the older games. Do please tell us your thoughts once you get to it! :)
Great video, I stumbled across your RUclips page from this video and I love seeing other girl gamers out there! You definitely gained a new subscriber from me. Can’t wait to watch the rest of your content and go back to see all of your videos! 😊
Holy crap that's a nice collection. Makes me want to start collecting again
Thanks for watching! Finding these boxes games in my closet are definitely making me want to get back into the collecting game.

I hear ya. Im going to see what these prices are looking like. Retro gaming is nowhere near as affordable as it once was. Bummer.
