i love your whole look in this video - looking like an ethereal forest fairy. 🥺 also i need to pick up so many of these but especially an absolutely remarkable thing.
i have almost finished serpent and dove and i love it, i recently finished the song of Achilles and i am not over it :(((( so heartbreaking but amazing
Really random but I love how with these videos you always try to point out the good and the bad about the book, whether you hate it or love it and I really appreciate it!
I’m jumping for joy to see my The Program series on your shelf! That series is my Shadowhunter series and I absolutely love it so much and I would love if you did a video or mentioned them in a video soon!! Love you Emma!
I've been in a reading slump in 2021 and today I decided to read City of Bones for the first time. I've read Clockwork Angel a few years ago and didn't like it, but so far I like CoB. Here's hoping I enjoy the rest of TMI as much as you do 😊
I just finished Spinning two days ago and I agree with your critiques, it just didn’t provoke me in any way. I also wish the ending was more substantial. I still enjoyed it though and it helped me get out of my slump. I desperately want to get Heroine, The House in the Cerulean Sea, and Grown on my shelf! I also appreciated your thoughtful review on Midnight Sun and addressing the issues along with it. I’m not a Twilight fan but I really enjoyed the review of it!
house in the cerulean sea is soooo good if you do re-read I recommend the audiobook! that's how I read it for the first time and I loved it so much (I was happy crying for the last half hour of it lol)
I’ve read TMI three times and I think I’ll be rereading it again soon. Honestly the books aren’t the strongest like you said, however, I do enjoy them xx
Loving your makeup and your shirt is gorgeous, serious closet envy. 😍 Even though we don't have a similar reading tastes (like at all lol) I still love watching your videos for your energy and opinions. 💜💙
Wow so many of these sound incredible and I want to read them! I just finished The Astonishing Color of After and wow it was amazing🥰 I gave it 5/5 stars. It’s such a beautiful and tragic yet hopeful story about grief and depression and family and it was so well done. I highly recommend 💖
I’ve been in a slump lately from Addie LaRue but also because I just finished my undergrad capstone project so that took up most of my time. Needing a great one to get me out of the slumpity though for after finals when I GRADUATE next week!
I have had Heroine on my kindle forever and entirely forgotten about it! Must read it - and the black flamingo too as I recently got it. Good discussion on midnight sun and it’s a shame Meyer just really doesn’t care...
hi emma :3 i need some new recommendations hehe *aggressively turn away from my tbr pile* btw i love your makeup !! your eye makeup is always so pretty !! 😗🖤
i'm very sorry, i do not set the guidelines for giveaways where the prize is provided by a company. book of the month does not ship internationally so i'm not allowed to give them away to international residents. i am planning two super special giveaways that WILL be international so i hope you stay tuned for those :)
re: TMI audiobooks | So I thought it might interest you to know (if you don't already) that "City of Bones", at least, *has* been re-recorded! The first three books were originally all narrated by Natalie Moore, but now there's a new version narrated by Mae Whitman, the voice of Katara! I'm interested in checking that out, so I thought you might be, too. :)
I recently read As the Shadow Rises which is the sequel to There Will Come a Darkness and it was a 5 star read for me! Now I am almost done with Horrid by Katrina Leno and also enjoying it so far.
I'm currently engulfed in the Shadowhunter Chronicles, and I'm loving it! I'm reading them in publication order and now on Clockwork Angel! So far it's really good!😁
I reeeaalllyyyyy need to read An Absolutely Remarkable Thing and House on the Cerulean Sea!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy to hear how amazing they are and I really look forward to reading them!!! 😍
Loved watching as always 👍 Lots of interesting books. I think I might start with The mortal instruments because it's been a long time since I promised myself to read this series.
I'm re-reading a couple of series right now (one for nostalgic cleanse after finishing a series I don't like, the other as prep for reading the new entry in the series) and one of the main things I've noticed, in the former at least, is that it's WAAAAAY darker than I remember. To the point part of me is amazed how young an age group it was aimed at lol
@@emmmabooks The book in the series I'm reading currently has a villain who basically kills one of his soldiers via firing squad... ...in a middle grade book full of talking animals lol
I can't wait for the day when there'll be a giveaway which is open to the rest of the world and not the US. :D On a more serious note, I thoroughly enjoyed this wrap up. I like how you alternate the pros and cons when you describe the book. :)
I just finished "American Street" by Ibi Zuboi and I appear to have the unpopular opinion of needing like... 200 more pages to really dig into things more deeply. I really liked the book (4/5) but just wanted more exploration of the very, very deep themes presented.
That’s so interesting re liking Bella and Edward better when it’s not in their POV! I actually really rarely like the POV character as much as their friends for that reason (they seem melodramatic / to be wallowing in self pity). Anyway, amazing detailed & balanced reviews as always!!
I'm currently reading the lunar chronicles, and u were one of the first booktubers I saw, gush about it so thanks Also I discovered booktube only this year and TLC is the first booktube recommended book I bought........ I will also read The truly devius sereis , hunger games trilogy , rashni chakshi , stephen king, A house of salt and sorrow this year... Ps. I wrote this comment which no-one will read most probably ......
I like the idea of book of the month, but I wouldn't want a subscription and it's only because of them putting their logo on the spine. That annoys me to much. I don't know what that says about me. I've been wanting to read The House on the Cerlulean Sea. It just sounds so good. I just finished reading the first couple Fullmetal Alchemist manga. They were really good. I borrowed the rest of them from the library.
I'm also doing reread to Mortal Instruments Series, I'm going to reread City of Fallen Angel next week. I can never get enough of Shadowhunters World 😂
I enjoyed this Video and the books you mentioned I have them written down. I am Currently Reading Miss Austen by Gill Hornby. I just finished listening to Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. This is so good. Happy Reading ❤️🔰❤️

now knowing what is going on when a book moves between the left and right hand
