Don’t go on his point that you purchase Air fibre only if your area doesn’t have broadband. i am from Pune and i have number of broadband options (local broadband, branded company lines) but after using broadband almost for 5 years i shifted to air fibre and i am very happy with its performance. Broadband service is good until your wires are new after that you will have tasks on your hands like raise help line , call the local guy, then he will say due to rain wire is damaged tree is fallen down wire is cut XYZ and we are working on it. Take basic example of TV cable Pune, Mumbai have so many local cable options but why people are moving to tata sky or Airtel Dish- Because this cable thing is not reliable and brings more tension and work.
So go for Any air fibre, whatever equipment’s they use will be placed in your own house/society, so you your self can take care of things and there will be transference if anything goes wrong.
Rains will definitely cause interruption in connectivity for Air Fiber
This seems like a paid comment. I also switched from Airtel wired Fiber to Jio Air Fiber and that was the worst decision of my life. I was a fan of Jio from the start but it's Air Fiber is so so poor. You'll not have reliable connection, there are connection and packet drops. If your use is limited to TV watching and media buffering (for that also it's not excellent) then you can consider Air Fiber but if you are using it for office purpose where you need constant connectivity for calls and remote desktop then it's a strict NO NO!!!
Cherry on top is their customer service, whenever you log a complaint, you'll get enginner visit day which is current day + 2/3 days and at the end they cancel the visit saying your issue has been resolved. I have evidence for all these and you can google "issues with Jio Air Fiber" and you'll get lots of similar complaints.
Only and only go for Jio Air Fiber, if there is no other option left and this is the last option. else STAY AWAY.

The speed of the internet is divided by 8 is the actual speed which you are getting .
30 Mbps mean 30/8 = 3.5 Mbps is your download speed.
Browsing speed is always lesser than downloading speed.

I'd say Jio Air fiber is the worst service I ever had. Even BSNL service was the best then this sh*t. There are several problems we r facing with Jio air fiber service...
1) Not Really Stable and constant speed, average speed is 15 Mbps on 30 Mbps plan
2) The WiFi is often disconnected by its own
3) Not stable ping, and latency. The average ping is 100 Ms, and packets are lost too with high frequency rate, frequently
4) Can't Separate 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band.
Plus, Why we get WiFi when we've cellular data on 5G era? It's because we need stable Internet with stable low ping along with Higher data pack, but they' give 1K GB data pack on every plan
The most annoying problem is the latency and disconnecte by itself, rn I'm using my cellular data over the trash WiFi, out of 24 hours 16 hours doesn't even work properly.
And Mostly It can't run video smoothly even on 1080p.
Thr Airtel Xtreme broadband was the best , mostly we used to get under 10 ping, the highest ping I ever noticed was 60, plus they give more speed then they claim. Infact, The Xtreme was able to give below 20 ping when the server's of North or south America.
Ps: Never get Jio Air fiber, when you're area had broadband, WiFi quality ain't all about running RUclips vid and speed test!

JIO is installing Airfiber connection in multi storied buildings and providing internet service to ONE of the flat owners at free of cost for one year.
Apart from that selected person, every one of that building who wish to take connection is required to pay @ 599 per month for JIO Airfiber connection.

30 Mbps is slow but. Mobile data free 5g giving 700 Mbps which is amazing so the airfiber should also give similar speed. But idk why they limit the speed on their plans they are too much expensive
