This audi is just about everything right I want. Bmw 7 and mercedes S is more of a mobile lounge than a car to me. I mean like I don't wanna sleep or watch tv.. if I can afford this car than it's obvious I have those luxuries and prestiges at home and the place I am going to. I want a car vibe when I'm in it.

Does the S8 L version have an optional footrest and foot massage for the passenger in the rear seat? Or would it be an exclusive option for the A8 L?
I think usually that would require the executive rear seat package. Not all A8 L came with that. When u get that u get a fixed console in the middle so the car becomes a 4 seater rather than a 5 seater that would have the foldable armrest

Sadly, the S8 L is China and USA only. I hate the directional wheels too for not being made correctly to face in the same direction on both side of the vehicle.

I prefer audi and bmw on marcides..marcides is more classic in its designs but audi is more revolutioary in its cars..

Audi has been dropping the ball. This car shape is not sexy at all. The cockpit looks basic. Not impressive at all. The outside looks like an ugly box. This is 2022, have they seen what the Mercedes Benz is doing ? Have they seen the designs that Mercedes Benz is putting out ?
It's not really fair to compare the brand new S-Class to a face-lifted S8.
this is very typical audi. It always looks simple. If you like flashy, chromes everywhere, looks that turn heads of every 15 year old for 5 years from now (because later it will look too tacky)-- yeah go for MB. That's what they do. Not everyone wants the whole world to know they can drop 1-2k payment on a car. Not everyone needs to bring attention. Some people prefer to fly under the radar. That's car for them. And MB is for flashy types. Annoying to me like a teenager in 20 year old Accord with loud music and chrome wheels. But still Porsche eats MB for breakfast in this department (flashy and drawing attention), so why even bother for MB. This Audi design will still look fresh in 10 years. MB on the other hand... will look like an old car and will be driven by a pimp or a drug dealer.
@@paulb7207 MB is stylish and beautiful, not loud like you described. Never really liked loud cars with chromes etc. I favor class, style and beauty - MB has all three and so does the Audi A7 and likes.
@@breakingcycles741 you do have a point there but i actually prefer the previous S class style and cockpit to the new Audi cockpit. With all that said, i am still an Audi guy, i haven’t converted to the MB but riding in the MBs feels great though.
