Nice tutorial, Allie! I think I'm gonna copy your teaching style. I usually either punch people in the arm or use the stun baton (usually lowest shock setting...usually) when they stall the car while I'm teaching. Your calm, patient approach might be better. 😁 We'll see.

sooo thaaaaaats how you do it? I've been putting it in D mode the whole time! I've put it in neutral, but when i went to engage the clutch, the pedal would just stay down and not come back up, so i would leave it in drive in D mode, when i pressed the accelerator the wheels would sometimes lock up and skip from time to time, sometimes it would smell like brake pads! (IF YOU BELIEVD ONE WORD I SAID READING ALL THIS OBVIOUSLY IM NOT BEING SERIOUS!) 🤣😂🤣😅

I've only driven manual transmission cars, my current car is a 2023 Camaro Convertible V6 6sp manual. What I have never seen before and it's pretty cool is that the Mustang is telling Allie in what gear she is in. The Camaro does not do that, it only tells you when you are in reverse.

As soon as i saw the thumbnail how to drive a manual i knew she was american 😊mind you most young new zealanders can't drive a manual these days as automatics have taken over
Allie: someting I started doing teaching first timers I put them on a hill block the wheel to prevent rolling back till they find the catch point. Then let them start to pull out then drift back to the block. This seemed to work well for me. Just sharing. Very good informative video thanks for sharing. You and Mark stay safe out there.
Empty parking lots are good for lots of "first time" things. 😉
Just push in the clutch and rev it up and let go of the clutch really quickly every time. You will look cool and get to your location faster

I know this tears stuff up but I used to drop a gear on people riding my bumper aggressively rather than brake checking. Scares the shit out of them 😂
