Extremely hyped to get this figure. Already love the street wise and first aid. Side note, but where did you order this from, if you don’t mind my asking? Doesn’t seem to be in stock anywhere.
Sorry to say that's because it Sold Out already. I got mine at ShowZstore, but yeah they are just out. According to my contact at MMC they only ever do 3000 Figure first runs, so only 3K of these exist right now. But the second run is already in production, so best to Preorder that. And yes you will love it, when you can finally get one in hand.
I dont see what you do in the aesthetic, but based on how you described it, its how i and others see the swol highmoon designs, just not as squared off as this figure
Like you don't see how this looks like a Space Marine, or you don't see how it looks tough? And the High Moon Designs don't look Tough, they look fat and cumbersome.
@@PerspectiveEnd I don't see how it looks tough. IMO hot spot looks cumbersome, like a bunch of children's building blocks put together. The angled chest plate on his square torso is doing him no favors, neither are the refrigerators of shoulder kibble. His daikon legs (look it up) look clunky, and overall he looks too boxy to be dynamic. I'm not sure what's going on with the human brain, but I like curves and you like boxes. This figure is just incompatible with my preferred aesthetic.
This made me realise, there isn't a lot of transformers who are purely a fire truck. I can only think of 4 out the top of my head. Then I notice at least two of them, have their head sculpt inspired in some way by firemen hats (rid 2001 optimus in super mode and resque bots heatwave)
What’s kind of funny you mentioned it in the beginning that Hotspot kind of looks like Optimus Prime, there’s actually a Cybertronian personality disorder that affects 2 percent of all Autobots and it’s called “Primus apotheosis”. obsessive need to specifically emulate Optimus Prime. Its major symptoms include the constant quoting of notable sayings by Prime, altering one's physical form to appear more similar to Prime, and sacrificing one's own life at the earliest opportunity for even the most remotely noble goal. What’s funny is Hotspot isn’t on the list of bots that have the disorder, lol
I’ve never really been into masterpiece collecting, but I’m legit thinking of getting the Bruticus and defensor from this set because they’re both my favorite combiner teams
I wish i could afford this thing! The combiner wars protectobots started my love for transformers and collecting and Hotspot has always been a favourite of mine!

All insects are not trying to become crabs. That's crustaceans. It's because the crab body plane is more versatile than that of lobsters
In regard to the figure, I had no idea that this would be so amazing. I was also indifferent to his team, but I never realised how bad ass his design could be with the right portrayal
Look if the internet taught me one thing, it's that all Mammals want to be Weasel, and everything else want to be creb.
And absolute same with this set.
Extremely hyped to get this figure. I already thought it looked good and looked like the transformation was fairly straightforward, but this video definitely made me know that I’m going to really like it.
This man is the frank horrigan of the transformers and could probably seriously damage bruticus by himself
Damn! You right!
Protectobot fans keep winnin’
Apparently.
This is one of those rare moments where pe barely has anything negative to say about a figure.
And yet, at the same time, I didn't feel like I was at a loss for words! Truly a rare occasion.
@@PerspectiveEnd indeed. This is probably a figure I might pick up just because of this video
I'm about to get Siege Optimus today I'm just waiting for it to be delivered and I'm actually really excited cause of what you've said about it
I'm so glad you picked that thing up.
I'm assuming the other one that has gone unmentioned is Inferno?
@@PerspectiveEnd then it's 5, Cybertron and animated prime berly count as fire trucks
I take it you were watching the video in the background while doing something else?
I mentioned the Primus Apotheosis at the start of the video.
@@PerspectiveEnd Oh my bad lol, was working on a custom figure in the background.
I’ve never really been into masterpiece collecting, but I’m legit thinking of getting the Bruticus and defensor from this set because they’re both my favorite combiner teams
Am I the only one that feels like this guy and the reactivate optimus would be best buds?
Also nice new light box
Oh for sure, they both have a VIOLENT energy.
The comparisons at the beginning are making me think, how big would a Volcanicus figure be if it was made out of accurately scaled Dinobots?
Gigantic, and it would be awesome.
I wish i could afford this thing! The combiner wars protectobots started my love for transformers and collecting and Hotspot has always been a favourite of mine!
