This really take the ' I ' out of feelings and to me teaches that feelings are fleeting and temporary. I think it reflects the illusory ideas we hold about ourselves. when I finally give up completely I hear back. This just happened yesterday but how do I not get sucked back into addiction? That's the challenge. I've always called it the bird cage, the door is open but too scared to fly out. That expanse of freedom and independence is too overwhelming and scary or lonely. Great podcast episode. Also Chris, I don't mind you chiming in to talk about whatever, you have good valid helpful stuff to contribute so I wouldn't mind it more of a conversation than an interview

Yes! That time of adjustment or “the in between” can be the hardest time to ride out. It takes time and we’re all so used to having things instantly, which is a hard state to get through. Being still and even meditation can help you through it.
