Can i just say the second knifeman arrested heading to the vigil - in my view - is also what helped kick off the anger and is also possibly what turned attention to the mosque, because of his visual appearance in the arrest photo. Nobody is mentioning that, but I think it has a lot to do with things. Starmer absolutely poured fuel on the fire.

Fire services - have tiered services; you wont need the most highly trained staff staff w/oxygen masks to get a cat down from a tree; firemen may call with no fire- retardant suit, no helmet & visor and in a red van, EG, if its to release a child or animal w/head caught in railings, or give advice on fire escapes....

Over the years people have been very tolerant. We've seen bombings, murders, grooming gangs, teachers still in hiding etc.

I'm disappointed with this summary. Because not enough was said about the suffering of the British by allowing uncontrolled migration. It's all going to kick off because we now have an army of unknowns on our shores. As a woman this really scares me. In the sixties and seventies I had to put up with men making unpleasant comments, boys at school grabbing private areas and it was laughed off. I had to hear remarks and whistling when barely out of school . Times have moved on, laws and attitudes have allowed this to become unacceptable. Yet now we appear to have this threat all over again. We don't feel safe and we cannot be free liberal women if our country continues to allow young men from overseas who do not see women as equal. They don't, because their laws discriminate against women and gay people . Iraq has just changed its laws on marriage. You can now marry a 9 year old, last month it was 15. 15 year old is far too young. How can you expect these young males to see us as their equals if they can legally have sex with a child.if I was young I think this would really worry me. Sexual crimes have increased and British men are to blame but also men who we have no idea who they are, who have a free pass to walk the streets are part of the statistics. I am angry I have to have id to move in and out of a country, I need a licence to drive , watch TV and id to move money or buy expensive things. Please change this otherwise we will be 40% and not as nature intended 50/50

Harehills, a district of Leeds where I was born and brought up in the 1950s and 60s. Then it was not deprived, just a cohesive area held together by decent,hard working white working class. I moved away 30 years ago but my father still lived in the area until 1996. I have watched in consternation how it's deteriorated in the last 25 yrs. I give the area a wide berth, not even wanting to drive through it now.

The Chief Constable of Merseyside made matters worse with her futile attempt to cover up the foreign origins of the attacker by saying he was 'originally from Cardiff'. She should be sacked because her comments just further fuelled speculation in the wrong direction.
What about the Leeds riots which brought Leeds to her knees, which was only a week before? Do we just ignore that?

And they were Australian, over in the UK, on holiday. The Australian Government has recently issued a travelling warning to Australians about visiting the UK...and this was even before the latest attack and stabbing of this young, innocent 11 year old girl. I'm originally from London, but emigrated to Oz as a young boy, with my mum, dad and siblings in the late 60's. I've been back to the UK on holidays 6 times over the years and have always had a wonderful time there, visiting different places and catching up with family. Even on my last visit, I always felt so save being in London, but, sadly, I don't think I'd feel that way anymore. It's just so tragic to see what has happened to such a beautiful country.

Put the visit of the PM ontop where the press took their photos of the PM laying a wreath, then without a word ignored the community, just walked off, not a single word to a community who had been deprived of 3 angels..how do you think that affected those in shock, those grieving,those with incredible anger waiting to vent it somehow ?😢

You're forgetting the Manchester Airport event, that then developed into the local police station being put into lockdown by a mob, .. Your also forgetting the Southport incident - that also resulted in the police being forced back by another (local) mob.

The nail in the coffin was the disgusting killing of those three innocent girls: with the police (once again), fobbing us off with bland comments abut a (boy) being in custody.

Sorry Mr Bleksley, it's almost impossible to express your concerns and be heard, as proven for over a decade now. We have a biased media who pick and choose what they report on. Over 50,000 attended the Unite the Kingdom event on 27th July and barely a mention in the media. As with other smaller like-minded events they only focus on arrests or any minor trouble, they never report on the speeches or any concerns that have been raised. Try posting on social media and your post will likely be hidden by the algorithms, not for bad language but simply for key but important words that need to be included.
Peter I think you missed a crucial point in your timeline. The prime minister turned up to get a photo shoot, laying flowers infront of a group of local mourners and left, without saying a word to those gathered. This footage of what seemed like him running away without calming the grief stricken. This if nothing else was terrible optics, which also enraged many of the public.

So far, no mention of the throngs of immigrants pouring into the UK, so many of them muslims, their behaviors, or the totally unnecessary strain and strife this has placed upon British society. Like it wasn't even happening, while it is the underlying cause of the violence. Therefore I cannot take this report seriously, even if some of it is factual. It appears, rather, to be a justification for imposing restrictions on free expression. If indeed, false statements were made on X, the remedy is to correct those statements, not impose authoritarianism.

Parts of this I agree with. However, Stamers response has shown his true colours. Christians in the UK are now persona non grata.Only fit to be ignored and if elderly starved or frozen to death.
