While you certainly can sauté in the instant pot, it really doesn't get hot enough for a good sear. I prefer using a cast iron pan to get a nice, crusty sear on my meat, as I feel it adds better flavor and depth to my Instant Pot recipes. Thanks for watching!
@@TheGoodeLifeOutdoors agree with depth of the sear. Sometimes just plain lazy. Lol. But then can continue with the rice...thanks. Enjoyed video & just told my husband how to butcher this year’s harvest so I can try this.
