Astronomy is going through some incredible advances today. An entirely new form of observation is now available to us through gravitational wave detection. And other methods, such as infrared light observation through the JWST, will further increase our understanding of the incomprehensibly huge universe. Thank you Dr. Fraknoi and everyone at Foothill College for bringing this to us for so many years. Oh and to all the other dedicated physicists and cosmologists opening our eyes to the wonder of what's out there. Bravo!
This was a fantastic talk. what an achievement in making such a complex topic understandable. I can’t tell you how much I learnt from this video and she is an amazing communicator. I am in absolute awe! 👏👏👏
Being "a person of a certain age" as you so euphemistically put it, I appreciated your lecture from the word go with the introduction of the familiar radio. Success with your projects and hope to hear more from you in the future. Thank you for your informative lecture. It gave me food for thought.
P.S. Needles to say, your "PAC MAN": reference is priceless and yes, you do have a particular brand of humor and "free association". That's all. Keep Well!
Most Random Observation Ever: her glasses are Tiffany & Co TF2074's. I have the same pair.
