@IceManIsaac Good to know it isn't just me. My Envision is doing that crash thing. And almost always at the worst possible time. I've gotten pretty good at the ctrl-alt-del, end task iCue, and then reopen the program. Still sucks. Have you come up with maybe a hardware mappings setting that it will default to when the software crashes?
Also I have noticed that if I shut down iCue before I start playing and then start it back up, the crash seems to happen less often. Still happens, but not as much. I can't swear it's really thing but it definitely seems to happen less often.
@@imChefz I'm like 99% sure it won't work. It utilizes Corsair iCue software for the mappings. Also a lot of the advantage with it is being able to map keyboard key binds to it. That would be basically useless on an Xbox or PS5. As would the g-keys. And it uses a Bluetooth slipstream dongle thing. I don't think that would play well with console either. I could be wrong. People find weird work arounds to stuff all the time. But I'm pretty sure it won't just work unless you or someone else figures out some weird voodoo to backdoor it or something.
Love the Envision. My favorite bind is binding the “R” keyboard key to my left shoulder button for reload. I know longer have to worry about picking up a different weapon in chaotic moments where there’s a shit ton of loot on the ground. This also makes it to where you don’t have to hold your X button to reload when you’re standing on loot if you use the “Priority Interact” setting for warzone.
Isaac these settings had me at my best FPS output ever at 1440 on a RTX3080. The new 551.61 nvidia update has trashed my FPS. I went back and reset all my settings again but I lost a lot of frames overall. I’m looking forward to an update to this video if you encounter the same issues.
if you play the game on steam you can use steam's controller settings instead of your normal just base controller and get the same effects as the envision as far as instant slide and instant dive things. You can bind keyboard binds to buttons on the stream controller settings. Me personally I do have the envision because its just so much better but before I was using the steam controller settings and it still works great if you want that instant slide along with instant dive.
Thank you for your time, Respectfully, I suggest that you keep the power management on normal on the video card, go to program settings, search for your game, and select max power for that specific game; that keeps your GPU idle when you do not play games; it will kick on full power ones you launch the game.
@IceManIssac - The Nvidia Low Latency Mode does not work for DirectX-12 games, and according to their documentation, turning it on for DX12 games can cause FPS issues. Just a heads up, thought you and your audience should know.
Pretty sure now with the new hybrid setting u have to set it to hybrid to even have dive usuable. I have a button bound to dive but when i selected slide only it didnt work.

I have played on these settings for 2 days now. I am stunned. I thought you were crazy playing in 4k. But I said why not, let’s give it a go. I get more consistent frames and higher FPS in 4k! It looks insanely more clear now. Thanks for doing this video!
Absolutely changed my experience. Went from getting 60 ish frames a second to 140 with 120hz at 1080p on my 2060, runs way smoother and allowed me to preform better. Thanks so much!

Thanks for the video. I kept dropping in and it would lag for the first few secs because my settings got messed up awhile ago and I just changed them to yours and the game runs like butter now.
Changing to prefer maximum performance change anything in game. Your gpu will clock to its highest speeds by default when your in mid game. But prefer maximum performance just makes it so even with just being at the desktop your gpu will be at its highest clock all the time not the move
Grounded Mantle should be set to "On", no? Text says On will Climb ground obstacles "using the Jump/Stand/Mantle key." Assumption being if 'Off", you will automatically mantle nearby obstacles - which is the mantle during gunfight scenario you stated.
HUD should not be set to edge. That just means your eyes need to travel a further distance from your gun to the map. Have it set to the middle as much as it'll let you on both vertical and horizontal bounds

Isaac, on the envision i can't get the dive keybind to register with slide only after update (in game or firing range) though it does register with hybrid (not a fan of how often I dive by accident with hybrid) also works with tap to slide enabled but obviously trying to get rid of the slide delay. I have spent hours trying to troubleshoot this, do you have a few mins on discord to give me a hand? (I tried in your chat on Twitch, but obviously youre super busy in game) I basically bought this controller for this function so im super frustrated. Appreciate any help.
U have to select hybrid mode now, i used ds4 to basically do the same thing as the envison. With the new hybrid setting, if u have slide only enabled u cant dolphin dive no matter what

Are you still using the Windows Loudness Equalization ( Release time short) ? I feel the sound is terrible in this season specially in Fortunes Keep.. compared to using this feature in Ashika Island, its just too noisy so I am not sure if this should be on or off in this season? in the audio settings try out speaker output stereo instead of windows default and on your windows pc dont use dolby atmos or windows somic its the best audio you can get for footsteps
Good video. Only one thing. Don’t put ”prefer maximum performance” in nvidia control panel. The gpu will be in maximum power while 3d rendering anyways, but with it in standard mode it will be allowed to throttle down during desktop work.
Dude is getting 240 fps in 4k with that 4090 hot damn. Shooters like Cod are starting to feel like hardware pay to win. Only the rich gaming elites can have a smooth good looking game. I have a 3080 and I can’t barely get a constant smooth 180 fps on 1440 with dlss on. The whole world system is rigged.
If you can tolerate potato textures just change preset to 1080p & minimum preset. Then add Fidelity CAS 67-100. I run a 1080p 240hz monitor and with potato graphics can get 220-300 fps throughout Urzikstan map with 5800X3D & Samsung B-die 3200 DDR4
@@toddblankenship7164 I7 12700KF. Also Warzone runs hot. My GPU gets up to 74 playing warzone. My fans keep it from going above that but that still seems hot to me which I think is causing performance drop but I could be wrong.

Do you play with Hybrid? If i put slide only my back button don't do anything, but when I use hybrid it works. Only thing is when I use hybrid I get a lot of accidental dolphin dives... Before the update I had slide only and back button for dive only.

Was always the weakest player on my team of friends. Tonight, i changed all my settings to match these...and suddenly I'm landing shots I never landed. And carried my team to a victory, where for the first time, i'm top kills and damage on our team. I owe you one brother! And we all bought matching SCUFS.
Thanks for all the hard work you put into testing and keeping us up to date! Do uncapped FPS work well for you? It creates tearing for me. I have 7800xt & 165hz monitor and the only way I get smooth experience is by using amd chill 163min-163max FPS limit. In game fps limit doesnt work right.
To confirm. Season one I had a key bind set to paddle for dive and another for slide. Now in season 2 the key bind for dive only isn’t working. I did turn on the continue sprint after slide as believe they fixed it in S2 as it doesn’t accidentally dive anymore. I have the envision pro. Can you still set back paddles one for slide and one for dive? Also I have it to slide only which is how I had in S1. In S2 do I have to change it to hybrid?
Finally got a Scuf and have been setting up the controller after being nearly exclusively KBM... one thing I noticed, my controller settings do not list "ADS AIM ASSIST" as one of the options in the Aim Assist section. I only have the other three options. Any idea on why?

I tried out the new "hybrid" setting and I just don't think it's it.... it definitely is way more responsive but I need to know with 100% certainty whether my player with dive or slide at a moments notice

Well i have to say i run a toaster from 2018 (i7-4790k,32RAM,rtx2070) that got maxed tf out in the overclock settings, i got it to 144fps stable! (thanks to your settings!) My friends on the new high end rigs even have lower fps haha

Was there a change preventing the instant dive from working? Controller in notepad registers ] properly. In-game settings match these. Instant prone works, but not instant dive. Worked initially when I got my controller, but shortly after it quit working.
how do u get around auto tac sprint from destroying ur hip fire gun fights?? :/ Ill constantly be strafing and auto sprinting, raising my gun up and costing me fights.
I don't think you are correct about crosshairs static and on being the same thing. Yes, they fixed the initial point when you first ADS. But it still sways after a bit of time. Also, the sway from strafing is still there. Anyway, this is my understanding and why I won't set it to static.

What if you have a descent build with 4090 and a 4K 144hz Samsung tv. Would running higher graphic setting be ok since the 144hz tv is the limit? I’ve tried it putting all settings to ultra and still seem to be getting 144fps but would I be loosing any input lag or latency because of the higher settings?
Isn’t 3rd person when you are parachuting and go into 3rd person? Lower the better so you can see the floor without going into FOV and turning it down to see the floor.
I had the same problem with my scuff crashing also and there was a reset button under the cover i pushed that hasnt crashed since fingers crossed there has also been an software update since then
Isaac!!! Hope you see this comment. I have an issue where when I open my mini map, I can use all the movement keys except A, W S and D work but I can't strafe left in the minimap... playing on pc. Any idea what could have caused that? I followed your keybinds and everything but have this weird problem.
Great video but I don’t agree with having linear in the ICUE app. I was playing for awhile and I couldn’t figure out why my aim was trash and then I switched to dynamic and instantly fixed it. To each his own though
Has SCUF fixed the issues with the icue software? I bought it and the mapped buttons would not work the majority of time. I sent it back, but am willing to give it another shot when they fix this
I have a 5800x3d. It doesn't say anything about performance cores. Just my cores, which is 8. So should I make it 7? Or leave it alone because I don't have performance cores?
IM wondering if the FK frame issue is ram related.. My pc has 32 G but not best specs other wise (11600k +3060ti) and IM getting a consistent 160FPS on FK
Whatever is more comfortable for you, these settings you really need to try them, all personal preference. Legacy will give you more of a 1 to 1 sens with or without ads, relative will slow you down a lot when ads depending on your coefficient. There are many videos about them.

Quick question coming out of a slide i have slight delay in letting me prone it works with no delay all other times only coming out of a slide any reason why?
I can not get the dive button to work on my side button. I've done everything shown here. Even in game on controller (you can hit keys on the keyboard that will work like push to talk, crouch, etc.) and even on the keyboard the dive button isn't working. First i changed my system key from SYSTEM to GAME and that oddly fixed it. But that wasn't it as it reverted my next session. What am I missing. I've heard of others having this issue, but no one has a clear solution. I even got it working once but it didn't hold for my next session.
cant be on slide only anymore. unchecked that and it works. downside is there is that micro delay in the slide that was previously negated with the " slide only" set. seen some say put to hybrid will try that out today and do some testing.

yep, if the game supports nvidia reflex then you should not enable low latency settings in the control panel.

Good looks on the tactical set to mouse 3. I've been using that for my lethals since MW 2019.

the frustrating thing about these videos is that I followed one a while ago, and I'm hesitant to make these changes incase it somehow reduces fps and I forget what my previous settings were

I tried out the new "hybrid" setting and I just don't think it's it.... it definitely is way more responsive but I need to know with 100% certainty whether my player with dive or slide at a moments notice
They need to take off the audio for airstrikes, at least for a setting in audio to take off.
Glad you brought that up about scuff! Might consider another one depending on price cause my first one wasn't worth it. Way over priced and it broke in couple months

Well i have to say i run a toaster from 2018 (i7-4790k,32RAM,rtx2070) that got maxed tf out in the overclock settings, i got it to 144fps stable! (thanks to your settings!)

Was there a change preventing the instant dive from working? Controller in notepad registers ] properly. In-game settings match these. Instant prone works, but not instant dive. Worked initially when I got my controller, but shortly after it quit working.
how do u get around auto tac sprint from destroying ur hip fire gun fights?? :/ Ill constantly be strafing and auto sprinting, raising my gun up and costing me fights.

So they fixed the weapon motion blur setting? Used to cause fps drop when the weapon blur was NOT on.
I don't think you are correct about crosshairs static and on being the same thing. Yes, they fixed the initial point when you first ADS. But it still sways after a bit of time. Also, the sway from strafing is still there. Anyway, this is my understanding and why I won't set it to static.

What if you have a descent build with 4090 and a 4K 144hz Samsung tv. Would running higher graphic setting be ok since the 144hz tv is the limit? I’ve tried it putting all settings to ultra and still seem to be getting 144fps but would I be loosing any input lag or latency because of the higher settings?

Isn’t 3rd person when you are parachuting and go into 3rd person? Lower the better so you can see the floor without going into FOV and turning it down to see the floor.

Isaac!!! Hope you see this comment. I have an issue where when I open my mini map, I can use all the movement keys except A, W S and D work but I can't strafe left in the minimap... playing on pc. Any idea what could have caused that? I followed your keybinds and everything but have this weird problem.
Great video but I don’t agree with having linear in the ICUE app. I was playing for awhile and I couldn’t figure out why my aim was trash and then I switched to dynamic and instantly fixed it. To each his own though

Has SCUF fixed the issues with the icue software? I bought it and the mapped buttons would not work the majority of time. I sent it back, but am willing to give it another shot when they fix this
I have a 5800x3d. It doesn't say anything about performance cores. Just my cores, which is 8. So should I make it 7? Or leave it alone because I don't have performance cores?
IM wondering if the FK frame issue is ram related.. My pc has 32 G but not best specs other wise (11600k +3060ti) and IM getting a consistent 160FPS on FK
What type of ads sensitivity do you recommend? Legacy or Relative?
Whatever is more comfortable for you, these settings you really need to try them, all personal preference. Legacy will give you more of a 1 to 1 sens with or without ads, relative will slow you down a lot when ads depending on your coefficient. There are many videos about them.

I can not get the dive button to work on my side button. I've done everything shown here. Even in game on controller (you can hit keys on the keyboard that will work like push to talk, crouch, etc.) and even on the keyboard the dive button isn't working. First i changed my system key from SYSTEM to GAME and that oddly fixed it. But that wasn't it as it reverted my next session. What am I missing. I've heard of others having this issue, but no one has a clear solution. I even got it working once but it didn't hold for my next session.
cant be on slide only anymore. unchecked that and it works. downside is there is that micro delay in the slide that was previously negated with the " slide only" set. seen some say put to hybrid will try that out today and do some testing.
